A nice pleasant place with a good choice of well presented food, staff friendly and courteous, it was reasonably priced and good value for money!

My Wife and I were invited out to meets some colleagues in Warwick. The Globe Inn was suggested. This place has just been re-named (previously The Lazy Cow), it is a very smart and neatly presented (air-conditioned) restaurant. The staff were all very attentive and closely monitored all the diners ensuring that everything was all okay during our dining experience.... More

I was here when it was known as the lazy cow and have to admit I was disappointed. Service and setting was good but it is no longer a steakhouse with a choice of 2 steaks .We were actually going to leave only we had ordered drinks. Meal was nice but that's it

We visited The Globe during a Saturday lunchtime to celebrate a relatives 80th Birthday. The celebrant was treated magnificently by the waiters who found nothing too much trouble. From providing a prompt and attentive service to allowing us time to ourselves when required they knew exactly how we wished to be treated. We had with us her great grandchildren, one... More

I visited the globe on Saturday the 18th July with a friend, and from the second we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles & offers of pims before we got to the bar which we thought was lovely, the staff are amazing, especially Martyn & Paul, we had cocktails all afternoon and lunch, the food was amazing... I stay in 4 and 5 star hotels every week as my job requires a lot of travel. However, I can honestly stay that my recent stay at the Globe far exceeded any of the big chains. The room was airy, extremely clean and the attention to detail was fantastic. The whole atmosphere is chic boutique, superb food and wine,... More

First impressions were good when we arrived Looked bright and clean Warm and friendly greeting by the staff But all that Italian blarny wore a bit thin after a while Became over familiar and patronising after a while Had monk fish for a starter which was well presented and tasted lovely For my main I had a burger which was... Like others on the website we revisited this restaurant with much trepidation as had very poor experience before it changed hands & under went a refurb. Must say extremely , pleasantly surprised! Décor looks good, relaxing & modern but without being OTT. Best of all was the menu...being a celiac means it is never easy to find somewhere with a... More

Visited the Globe Saturday last for dinner, lovely decor, modern, nicely set out, lovely tableware and glasses, staff friendly and attentive. We ordered prawns in garlic butter to start.. where we live in Jersey we get either shell on gambas or at least large gambas or prawns in sizzling hot garlic butter that smells declicious on a regular basis, but...
