Almost custom made dinners for fussy eaters prepared without notice by the Chef!

The most hospitable place, a gem of quality, welcoming log fire and the best and fresh food almost made to order by a super talented and genuinely helpful chef "TOM"! The Chef outsources his ingredients from near and far away, like "fresh wild garlic from Provence" (deliciously aromatic), while... read more

Warm welcome, nice pub with dining and sofa's. We felt the drinks were expensive and the food even more so and really nothing special. It was all nice but when your paying over £11.50 for a main, you want more than nice.

My partner and I Visited The Granville today, we got to enjoy the 7 course tasting menu that they have recently offering. We were both very happy with the food choices and quality offered. A big Thank you.

I visited The Granville for lunch, it is situated just off the M40 in Barford a lovely village. Although it's a pub they don't serve normal pub food, it is more gourmet food. Quick service even though it was fairly busy on a Monday, the food was excellent, nicely presented, nicely cooked. The pub is nice although a little cold,... More

Few decent places to eat in Warwick start serving before 6.30pm, which can be a bit late if you're on your way to a concert or the theatre. If you're travelling from the south, however, Barford is only 10 minutes from the centre of Warwick and The Granville serves from 6pm. More of a pub atmosphere than a restaurant, but... More

I've been a loyal fan of The Granvile for some years....always a favourite for family celebrations etc.....but this was the first time since it changed hands......just ever so slightly disappointed.....noticeably less busy than usual on a Friday night....loss of usual cosy atmosphere, cold and draughty, no usual fire on a cold winters night.....food acceptable, got cold quickly because the pub... Before I start, please note that I called and spoke to the chef (Tom) a few days ahead of our visit. We were going for a family meal so I'd booked the table well ahead of time. I called in the week before our visit to speak to someone about any vegan suitable dishes and it was recommended that I... More

I've been to the Granville many times with friends and family, both for regular lunches and NYE parties. I've always loved the Granville but since it's changed hands, I have not been pleased with it at all. I came today with my mum to grab some lunch. We were pretty hungry so we quickly ordered some drinks and the food,... More

This pub seems to have really gone downhill, we used to love dropping in whenever we passed which was every week, but it's just not the same anymore. The people seem fine but the food and wine is just run of the mill now, and the whole feeling of the place has changed. Our latest visit was a very chilly... More
