Visited here one evening when on a stay over in Barford. Sat in the beer garden on a Friday evening enjoying a couple of real ales in the sunshine. Lots of benches/tables were available. In lovely village of Barford very close to Warwick. Good food and restaurant busy for a Friday lunchtime. The staff were pleasant attentive staff. Large outdoor space.

We saw that the M40 had long delays so we decided to stop in Barford for an early dinner rather than be stuck on the motorway, spoke to the manager who incidentally had started the day before [so poor service issues others have mentioned look to have been adressed] We fancied something simple and chose the fish and chips, which we enjoyed,not... We went for a late Father's Day Sunday lunch, and it was painful. It was obviously near the end of the service, which I think finished at 4 and I'm sure they had been very busy but they just couldn't be bothered. For the price you pay the food was okay. The cuts of meat were probably on the cheaper... More

Why open your doors and allow people to come in for food but don't start good for an hour. Why bother opening at all? in tr five minutes I was parked outside I my partner and mother in law left along with a group of six who were told no food and others totalling 11 losses of sales.. Poor business... More

The kitchen was closed but nobody was inside so I think day time meals are not asked for that often. This was rather a let down for us as we were hungry. The decor is not the best but the London Pride was excellent . I felt trade had gone down because of the bye pass that has been built... More

We visited the Granville in Barford village midweek of last week and were amazed by the quality of the food and service. The waiter and waitress were really friendly and welcoming and made us feel completely at ease. They were also happy to give us advice on the menu, ales and the local area as we were passing through. The... More

Stopped here for lunch en-route to a holiday in the Cotswolds. Very pleasant staff made feel welcome in the pub. The pub itself looked well looked after, a nice place to visit. We tried the fixed price menu, two courses for £12, and really enjoyed the starter and main course, both with lots of tasty asparagus! The real beer served... More

I wouldn't bother to pop in even for a quick drink. The toilets were dirty and on mentioning this to the proprietor she looked at me with disdain! Ooops - I was the guest.... ?? And to top it all I work in the industry and would have thought she would have been mortified that the 'ladies' weren't very pleasant.... More
