A 1940s themed Tea Room in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Come and join us in the 1940s and experience gorgeous loose leaf teas or a lovely cup of coffee accompanied by sandwiches on locally baked bread or try a cake or scone made daily on the premises by one of our bakers. No packet mixes or frozen products here. We also offer a gluten free cake each day and will do our best to help any other allergies too. The Fourteas is an experience not to be missed. The Fourteas has won the 2012 TouchFM Pride of Stratford Awards Town Outlet of the Year and has been selected by Jamie Oliver for his best 1000 Places To Eat In Britain app. We have recently moved to larger premises, but we are still only operating from one shop with no plans to expand to a chain yet!

Back in Time

Great place, really quaint, all staff dressed as they would have been during the war, food really nice and good portion sizes, need to book first unless you are lucky like we were going on spec. well worth a visit

We stumbled upon this tearoom by chance in trying to get our bearings- and thrilled we did. Did not realise it was a step back to the 1940's until we stepped in and saw the decor and staff uniforms. We thought it was lovely to see and look at all the posters & nicknacks on the walls and the decor... More

Very tasty tea and cakes. They were rather busy but we were able to get in without a reservation. The server was very busy as it took awhile to get our order and it wasn't exactly correct, but we weren't in any hurry. Worth a visit.

Traditional style tea room evoking the 1940's (wordplay name!) and serving nice range of snacks and meals with a wide range of teas available. Friendly service by staff in period costume and overall most enjoyable, good value and entertaining.

Having previously visited this wonderful place we couldn't help but return, this time as a party of five. This time we encountered a secret, I guess few are aware off, the sitting room. Wow what an experience ! We all had a fantastic time! Thank you

Loose leaf tea served with a timer to ensure perfection, encapsulated in a little glimpse of forties life, down to the various room settings and the andersen shelter in the back garden. Very sttentive staff with a wealth of knowledge of the era and cakes you won't find in a national chain. Worth the experience.

A lovely experience, and a step back in time. The Fourteas just captured everthing I had been told by my parents and grandparents about this era. The staff were delightful, the food was delicious and all at a very reasonable price for Stratford. Interesting to notice that there was a wide range of ages of other guests....not just the middle... Took my elderly parents thinking they would enjoy going back in time . Not impressed . Left standing waiting for 5 minutes which my 85 year old parents found difficult , we had full afternoon tea but disappointed - we were not able to have a variety of sandwiches all cakes basic and cream for scone was very very small...
