Come and join us in the 1940s and experience gorgeous loose leaf teas or a lovely cup of coffee accompanied by sandwiches on locally baked bread or try a cake or scone made daily on the premises by one of our bakers. No packet mixes or frozen products here. We also offer a gluten free cake each day and will do our best to help any other allergies too. The Fourteas is an experience not to be missed. Wonderful tea room

Had afternoon tea twice over the Easter weekend when we were visiting Stratford. As we were 9 on the second day, we had a room to ourselves upstairs which was fantastic as we had four children with us and we were no bother to the other clients. We shared cream teas and the children were well... read more

We had afternoon tea. Unfortunately the tea was incredibly weak, even after 10 minutes of brewing time! You get to pick a single type of sandwich and it's quartered - that's always disappointing. The scones were big which is great, but they clearly weren't fresh. The small selection of little cakes was underwhelming. The 40s theme was nice, but not... More

Really lovely place, about three minutes walk from the RSC. Great afternoon teas - sandwiches, scones, collection of mini cakes. Pot of tea. All served by waiting staff dressed in 1940s garb. Loved the story behind the start of the business, and there's a good joke in the toilet (yes, the toilet). If you've got the time and money, it's... More

Visited twice in two days. Once for afternoon tea and once for breakfast. Really lovely atmosphere. Gluten free scone with cream and jam was a real treat! Also adapted the breakfast to be gluten free as well which was nice.

I booked a table at the Fourteas for 9th April. I mentioned in the booking it was for my boyfriends birthday. It's set in the 1940s with posters of the war around, bunting and the staff are dressed in old fashioned outfits like the dinner ladies at school!! The menus were like ration books. We ordered The Ivor Novello afternoon... More

My friend and I were desperate to visit as we had heard so much good stuff and we weren't disappointed. The customer service was excellent, even when they were faced with some very rude customers who couldn't understand that the patio was closed. The scones were to die for - our only gripe was that our afternoon tea for two... More

Afternoon tea was such good value at £12.50 a head for tea, sandwiches, scone and cakes. The staff were dressed in 1940's style and the decor was really authentic. There were 13 of us and we had a room upstairs and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We were celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday and staff came in with the... More

Stopped off here for some refreshments on a fly-by visit to Stratford. Love the decor inside and the 40s theme, including the ration book menus. There is a wide range of different teas and coffees available and some unusual combinations including the Mocha Rocha Rooibos I tried which was delicious. The drinks come with a sand timer to ensure it's... More

Love this place great scones jam and cream but today was disappointed. Lovely day but got told no one could sit outside as they didn't have the staff !! Really if we had know that we would have gone to the cafe down the road with a lovely outside space. Sorry fourteas today you have gone down our ranking after... More

The thing that sets this place out amongst the countless tea rooms in Stratford is obviously its 40s theme. The decor is typical 40s with bunting, army helmets and pictures that take you back in time, and of course all the staff are dressed up to keep the illusion going. The food was good, although the club sandwich was far... More
