A 1940s themed Tea Room in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Come and join us in the 1940s and experience gorgeous loose leaf teas or a lovely cup of coffee accompanied by sandwiches on locally baked bread or try a cake or scone made daily on the premises by one of our bakers. No packet mixes or frozen products here. We also offer a gluten free cake each day and will do our best to help any other allergies too. The Fourteas is an experience not to be missed. The Fourteas has won the 2012 TouchFM Pride of Stratford Awards Town Outlet of the Year and has been selected by Jamie Oliver for his best 1000 Places To Eat In Britain app. We have recently moved to larger premises, but we are still only operating from one shop with no plans to expand to a chain yet!

This themed café is wonderfully atmospheric and terrific value for money, visited with a friend for before going to the RSC and enjoyed a light lunch that was just perfect. Loved the selection of teas on offer and the cakes too were delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient and although busy food was served promptly. Would highly recommend if... More

Step back in time and have tea served just like your great nan would, even wearing the pinny and headscarf ! Memorabilia is all around you while you eat the tasty scones or have a full hearty breakfast/lunch with eggs and bacon. Homemade Victoria sponge abound. You even get a little timer to tell you exactly when the tea is... More

The Fourteas has a theme of The Forties with the staff uniforms, decoration and artifacts harping back to wartime. As you can see from the photograph, afternoon tea was substantial and delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful and all the cakes look fab. They also have a room upstairs for larger parties and a smaller room decorated as a... More

Yes this place is different, themed 1940's. Hopefully service was better in the 1940's. The greatest of welcome at the door, maybe as it was Sunday the service slow. Unfortunately we decided to leave without ordering.

We booked an afternoon tea for lunchtime on Saturday and were really pleased. Two of our party were celebrating big birthdays and the staff made a real fuss. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were wonderful. Well worth a visit but don't eat anything before you go!

This restaurant is a clever setback to England during wartime. The decor is vintage tableware and posters about the war effort. The menus are printed on ration cards, and the servers are attired in housedresses and headscarves. Oh ... and the food was substantial and delicious. It was a delightful experience overall and even somewhat educational.
