Nice place for lunch

Nice little cafe with friendly, welcoming staff. Service was quick and efficient and the food was perfect for a light lunch.

We have eaten here a number of times for both breakfast and lunch. The interior is simple, no-nonsense and the service is friendly if a little chaotic at times. The menu offers a wide choice for both breakfast and lunch (breakfast is 'all day'). We have had large English breakfasts, various sandwiches, pies, baked potatoes, etc. All have been reliably... Had lunch in here mid week. Staff were great and friendly . Good choice of food and plenty of choice. Did not have to wait long for food and it was really good.

Visited here with my wife, son and his wife. We tried the larger breakfast which was quite good, the bacon sandwich was OK but needed cooking a bit longer. The waitresses were friendly but got our order wrong twice, however this did not detract too much from the overall experience. Worth a try but probably would not go back.

Poped in after a busy morning atound the market for a cup if tea and slice of cake and while the tea and cake was pleasent enough i cant say the same for the atmosphere. Everybody was running around like headless chickens (yes it was busy) but there seemef to be no organization at all. Staff were shouting to each... More

I would love to review this cafe however, with staff that refused to make eye contact despite clearing the table next to us and other staff glancing over but not acknowledging our existence, we decided to head back to the fabulous Fourteas for a repeat of the great experience we had the morning before. A shame really as the food... More

We were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch on Saturday afternoon and stopped at Deli Café. It was busy inside and we found somewhere to sit and menus were brought over quickly. There was a lot of choice but my husband still managed to want something that wasn't on the menu so made up his own combination which... More

The service was very rapid and attentive. Even when people walked in with no idea about the menu with a quick request, they were accommodated and indulged with whatever they asked for. We had traditional breakfasts with mushrooms and sausage and fried eggs and hash browns and toast and sauces and jams and ham. Everything was perfectly prepared. I saw... More

I love breakfast. I love eating. I love brunch. We were passing through Stratford on a sunny Monday and decided to have some breakfast. I looked up on TA where the best place was to go and this was one of the few. If you want eggs benedict, eggs florentine, eggs royale, bircher muesli, fruit salad or anything with chorizo... More
