Perfect pre-RST supper

Visited here on our way to the nearby RST to see Death of a Salesman so we thought we needed comfort food in advance. Excellent lasagne with Sicilian red wine, efficient service and great early evening buzz. Perfect.

I go to Carluccio's a couple of times a year and each time the food is fab. The waiting staff are lovely really friendly and helpful. We had lunch here just before going to the theatre and the two course lunch is enough to fill you but not make you sleepy when trying to concentrate on blank verse. We also... More

this was my first visit to any Carluccio restaurant and it was not what I expected. The staff were friendly and efficient but my friend and I both ordered a lasagne which was very heavy and lacking in sauce. I pointed out the lack of sauce but the waiter did not seem to understand what I meant.

This is alarge Carluccios in a good location facing the Theatre and river. We stopped in for a quick lunch. The service was excellent and friendly and welcoming. We had soup and Bruschetta but the food was very ordinary served nicely and not expensive. But this is what i have found with Carluccios generally.. .

Stopped in for lunch, very busy place just near the marina. Wonderful rissotto with Gorgonzola, very tasty.A bit pricey but good. Cakes and pastries really good too if you have space. Staff so vbusy you feel for them, but they do well.

I like the location , the staff are friendly but the food is becoming very average in terms of quality and I mean both taste and presentation. The new platters that were pitched to me via email were we thought worth a try .. a sort of tapas style meal but don't bother ..greasy cold chicken, small portions, only 1... More

Had breakfast with friends last Sunday morning. There was a great atmosphere, the place was buzzing around 10.00am. Our waiter (unfortunately I can't remember his name) was very friendly & welcoming. We had the breakfast which consisted of fresh juice (the Apple was exceptionally good), Proscuitto, eggs, mushrooms and sausage on Italian toasted bread and lovely fresh coffee - very... More

Yummy fresh meals! They always cater to both small and large groups equally efficiently. The food is always simple yet yummy and filling. I have come here with family, friends and my partner. The restaurant is very open plan and you are often quite close to the next table, so I would suggest more a friendly outing than a romantic... More
