Not much to say except eat here. I love this place. Great value for what you get but its all about the quality and service. After eating many a time here and partaking in the deals it looks like the owner has decided to close up.

Never has a place deserved to go bust more than this god awful place. Drab environment, disgusting food and stinking attitudes of the staff. Good riddance !!!!!!!

Alas Waterside Palace is no more, always a favourite for business lunches, the food was good and came at a reasonable price, the owner also runs Laus 202 Buffet House and didn't have the time to keep both on. Last I heard the new owners of WP are turning it into an Indian Restaurant. The King is Dead, long live... More

Best Chinese food in Newcastle I'm a regular here and always will be. Recommend the duck for starters and the sweet and sour chicken best I've had

I used to manage this restaurant 7 years ago and am sad to hear that the service standards has dropped! Previously this used to be the place to go for good food and service with many regulars from Footballers to Stars who were performing at The Arena. perhaps the owners should look into retraining their staff! This was the place... More

Amazed this restaurant is not in top 10 of Newcastle's restaurants. Awesome tasting food, Hot & Sour soup, Ribs and Duck before the mains mean its a challenge to finish the Imperial Banquet but we try our best every time!

There's not a lot I can say about this place. Except go. Try the banquet. The food is out of this world. The staff are very professional and well organised. And the atmosphere is great. We have been a few times be it quite or busy we have always received the right level of service.

Well what can I say about this place, 1/10 in every sense of the word. On arrival first impressions were good. Dull curtains, cheap Chinese ornaments and the stench of prawn crackers. Great. We sat down, whilst the waiter took our order of drinks. Let it just be said I'd still be waiting now if I hadnt went to the... More

Over 10 years, we have tried a number of places for special celebrations and always keep coming back here as it is consistently very good. There is a very relaxed feel to the place and the staff are very kind, polite and helpful - they are very attentive whilst not being intrusive and wait in the background, appearing at the... More
