Back at Rasa. Quite consistent excellent service. Dishes you cannot get anywhere else. Just well worth the visit. Not cheap but that's acceptable given the quality.

The best indian food I have ever had in a restaurant. And I have been to a lot of restraints/cafes all over bradford, manchester etc. This is actually specific food from the Kerela region. Its different from what you usually find in the UK. Went with side and two friends, and we all had the Rasa feast. It was just... More

Not unique, but exceptional of it's type. Not the usual fare served in 'Indian' restaurants, a combination of northern sub-continent and Bangladeshi foods, sometimes rehashed for a percieved British palate. This is not a critisism, I have eaten some wonderful meals in establishments of this type. However Rasa provides something different. It is one of a small chain, the others... More

The staff at Rasa are superb and the customer service is excellent. This is not your normal Indian Restaurant and the menu contains many unfamiliar dishes. As we have not visited this restaurant before we opted for the Rasa Feast, this includes a selection of snacks and pickles, a trio of starters, four mains, rice, bread and desert. An absolute... If you are looking for genuine South Indian cuisines this is highly recommended. Their service is excellent and food is delicious. It is bit pricey though. Hence one star less.

We went with friends to Rasa having been there before. The food is delicious, tasty and very different from the usual Indian restaurant. Staff are very attentive and friendly, I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely go again in the future.

Great food with excellent attentive and helpful staff makes a visit to Rasa memorable. We tried the Kerala Feast which gives a great selection of snacks, starters and main course, the very different snacks were accompanied by 6 chutneys, then the starter had three items and chutneys. The special seafood soup was sublime. The main course had a fish and a... More

I am not a big fan of South Indian food. At all. But I was dragged to Rasa while visiting a friend in Newcastle, and let me tell you, I am going to thank her for it for a long time to come. I would go back there on any given day, just for their delicious food. What makes the... More

I love this place. As a lonely business travller this is a real find. Good food, always just enough people around without it being too loud after a long day, and the best paratha outside of kerala!! Can't wait to come to Newcastle again.

I've been to Rasa on 3 occasions now. Each time I've had excellent service and amazing food. Now if I ever have guests visiting newcastle I will be taking them there. We are vegan and have many vegetarian friends and I found the menu very accommodating for us.
