The landmark is a fantastic place to eat out whatever the occasion. Great food and value for money with the lunchtime menu whilst also serving exceptional dishes on the evenings. Best restaurant on Stowel street!

Had a family night out here last night and yet again couldn't find any fault. The food and service were superb as usual from our warm welcome on arrival to them arranging our taxi home at the end of the evening. Never had a bad evening in here.

We went here on the strength of good reviews. Just goes to show how some people are easily pleased. We had lettuce parcels as one of our starters, although how you make a parcel from a piece of lettuce only 4" by 2" is beyond me. Its not as if lettuce is expensive! Rest of meal was OK, nothing to... More

Went here with work colleagues for a quick lunch. The two course for £11 lunch menu was decent value. The salty and spicy prawns I had as a starter were good, although they attracted a £2 uplift to the set lunch price. My main course, the shedded beef in Cantonese sauce was very tasty. The other enjoyed their meals as... More

Been promising the kids a Chinese meal in a restaurant for ages. As we were in town, we decided on China Town and the Landmark. I had been before a few times and thought it was really good. We had the lunchtime special, 2 course for £11 for adults and £7 for kids. The staff were brilliant with the kids,... More

Each visit back to newcastle is a treat especially for a birthday party at the landmark, the sizzling dishes are what have brought me back time and time again. The service is great and the food matches. its all about good company too and we get that every time having been recognised by staff when we return. Best to go... More

Went here with a group of colleagues following a meeting. The food was really nice from the pagoda banquet. It wasn't salty or greasy. Friendly attentive staff. I'd go again. Much nicer than most Chinese restaurants I've been to in the area. Only thing that let it down slightly was the atmosphere - tv on one side of us showing... More

It always been my favourite Chinese and I have been dinning here on several occasions but it's seems that I should start to look for a new one!! I am not a big eater but portion sizes went crazily down to the point that one time my boyfriend sizzling fillet steak dish had a literally 5 tiny pieces and surely... More

Went there for my friends 40th as a nice meal for her , got there and there was clearly an event on which I had not been previously warned of when I booked. The food was nice but then at the end whilst still finishing drinks I was TOLD quite rudely they were bring the bill over and did we... More
