Pani's Cafe is where it is at.

Never before have I been blown away by a restaurant, but Pani's did. My parents have been avid visitors for years and swear by the place. I made my first trip around two years ago and I have never looked back. Since then every time I make the trip into town I make sure to pop in even if it's... read more

I will admit to being a little skeptical when it came to choosing here for an evening meal, based mainly on the vegetarian options for my boyfriend, I was concerned it would be quiet and the food would be average.... How wrong I was!! Food was served quickly, and was fresh and tasty with good portion sizes. Service was friendly... More

Used the website to book a table online, worked perfect. Table ready for our arrival, we explained we needed to be served within the hour and this was no problem. All 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal & the efficient yet friendly service. Only gripe was the cheese on our garlic bread wasn't melted...would definitely visit again.

We went here with a large group in June. I really love prawn dishes, but although the starter of a tiger prawn in white wine sauce was alright, the tiger prawns risotto was very dry and way too salty. Given the other reviews, it might well be that the standards were slipping when catering a large group. I might come... More

Dont be put off by "cafe" and initial setting. Once you are in sit back and enjoy fantastic service from a really switched on Team. Part of the enjoyment comes from watching professionals juggle the bookings and turn the tables. The food is good too!

Popped in here for lunch after a morning of shopping, we were seated quickly towards the back of the restaurant which was very loud but full of happy customers chatting and enjoying their meals. We chose off the menu and food was served fast and hot - Pani's bolognese was my choice which was very tasty and a good sized... More

This was the first time I had taken my girlfriend , having gone there for years I was a busy Saturday afternoon, but we were given a great table in the window . The specials were incredible and For £30 we had a sharing starter platter, and 2 brilliant mains and a bottle of wine It was a bargain, but... More

Not the place to visit if you're after a quiet meal - the room was packed with noisy diners which is, after all, a good sign. The service was very quick despite the number of punters, the food was very tasty and wholesome - sausage casserole was lovely but the starter garlic breads were minimalist to say the least. More... Basic Italian grub, nicely cooked and excellent value for money. Charming staff and quirky decor. Would definitely visit again.
