Pani's is a classic and a one of a kind. The buzz and atmosphere is worth a visit alone but the food is fresh, delicious and quick which makes it perfect for a business lunch. Anything from a Milanese sandwich to fresh pasta everything is great. The service is always ultra friendly and attentive. I would recommend Pani's to anyone... More

Went here with a whole troop of friends. We were very well fed. Great service, scrummy food. I had the aubergine parmigiana which was great. They have a good selection of wine, and some very reasonably priced, not horrible ones. Good for dining out on a student budget!

Panis is like the Tardis up the back lane opposite the Bacchus. Family run restaurant with excellent service (never seen so many attentive waiters). The food is typical Italian pastas and pizzas etc BUT they produce the most delicious fish soup I have ever tasted. It is worth a visit JUST FOR THE SOUP!! Ideal for a quick lunch or... More

Panis never disappoints. Wonderfully friendly staff. Simple lovely food. Vibrant atmosphere and extremely accommodating of children.

A pal and I popped into Pani's after a lovely boozy afternoon for an antipasto, bruschetta and some olives. The welcome was friendly, the grub decent and the wine palatable but the loos were terrible. Dirty, dusty, mouldy ceilings spilling their spoils onto the cisterns. All in all not very nice. Sort it out Pani's.

This is great place for some no nonsense, good quality italian food. i was taken by two friends today (who are both regulars) and we all had dishes from the specials menu - which were all excellent. homemade risotto, grilled goats cheese salad, and i had the black bream with risotto. service quick, knowledgeable, not pushy. i think that the... Tried a couple of places to start with, but settled here, I had a brushetta bread and cheese starter , a tortellini main followed by the profiteroles pudding and to finish off, a coffee and grappa shot. All my food was lovely and although I am a fussy vegetarian, all the options on the menu were great as we're the... More

We went there yesterday as a group with a colleague who was leaving work, so 9 of us and we had a variety of dishes, including some specials and the rest off the main menu. The service was excellent and the food really lovely. Although it was busy, service was quite speedy. All told, better than most, if not all,... More

Came here a couple of years ago because my wife had been and she had loved it. I was under the weather and did not especially like it but remembered the staff being very nice. Back this time for my wife's birthday. Really enjoyed what we had - Gamberoni and Flatbread Lello followed by Pollo Lello and an Italian sausage... More
