Some Of The Best Indian Food I've Ever Tasted

Absolutely stellar food, been many times and food always comes fresh out of the tandoor. Welcoming staff and food is always perfect. Great for celebrating a special occasion with family and friends.

Was a bit disappointed with the menu and the food. Prices are about average but food could be better. Service was quite slow but there was a few groups in so understandable. The menu isnt your typical indian... i have ate in many indian restaurants all over the world and never heard of most of those served here... bit random.... More

Simply. The. Best. I have been brought up on Indian food due to it being my grandfathers home land. This however, is like nothing I've had before. The four of us had a fantastic night start to finish, we had an absolute feast and drank well and the bill was nominal. The tikka done 3 ways is simply the best... More

This is the second time we visited Sachins, the first the service was very slow(we waited around 1 hour between starter and main) but this time we couldn't fault them at all. For starters I picked the machi tandoori (monkfish) and my partner had the peshawari murg tikka and we were both pleasantly surprised at the size of the dish-4... More

had a lovely meal here recently. grateful to the staff that managed to squeeze me a table for 2 at very short notice. the place was hugely busy, from when we arrived, having enjoyed my time there immensely, I can see why! great food, plenty of staff on hand and lovely surroundings. massively impressed. thanks

Don't often write reviews on TA but felt the need to do this as our meal last night was perfect. The food and the service were the best I have had anywhere and I will try to recount as much as possible. To begin we decided to share some poppadoms and pickles. Not just your run of the mill Patak's... More

Having already been to Sachins several times over the years we knew exactly what to expect and we weren't disappointed. Absolutely delicious food served in one of the nicest restaurants in Newcastle by friendly staff. The hot sizzling platter to share as a starter is a must..it gives you a little bit of everything...and everything is delicious. I like my... More

Came here with friends on a recent weekend break to Newcastle, made an online reservation as a result of trip advisor positive reviews. Contemporary decorated with very helpful and pleasant waiting staff. A large menu with some very unusual starters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, though my curry was cooked more hot than I'm accustomed to. It did state... More

Me and the hubby went to Sachin's on Saturday night. Got the table straightaway . But while ordering the food especially mentioned that we want the food to be mild and confirmed this with the waiter twice. But when the food came hubby's lamb kashmiri was full of spices and the naans were like the papas. We did not enjoy... More

This is by far my favourite Indian restaurant and my partners favourite restaurant full stop! We love coming here for the fresh home cooked meals which we have never had a problem with,my favourite is the Korma- yes sounds boring but cooked punjab style it's got a slight kick to it which compliments the creaminess of the dish! My boyfriend... More
