Good food, good service and good value. Dined outside on the terrace which was a little crowded and could have done with a couple less tables and a no smoking policy but otherwise very good.

Paradiso ! Great staff and a good choice dishes all freshly prepared. Interesting decor with bare brick walls. The World Cup on TV so even though we weren't interested in this, it did make it seemed that we were in Italy.

We used to come here constantly when we lived on Newcastle. It was always great - for lunch, brunch, dinner, drinks (great sun deck out at the back) Three of us for lunch today - mussels in chilli & tomato sauce, chicken with a delicious stuffing, & a simple Milanese sandwich - all fantastic. Just the tastiest food we've all... More

With the recent spate of good weather I've been looking at restaurants with outside dining areas and was recommended to try Paradiso. What a smart move that was.The welcome was friendly without being too effusive. Loved the balcony setting. On looking at the menu for the lunch time specials was interesrted to see a starter of Ox Tongue! I asked... More

Went roughly 2 months ago with friends who had heartily recommended it and I have to say I was a disappointed... Since I don't really drink wine I went for a mojito that was average, really. My starter was lovely but my friend's wasn't, which ruined the moment a little. My vegetarian main was so bland I had to add... More

Another fabulous meal at Paradiso. Had not been for awhile but decided that as we were on a budget to book. Can't fault the food or the service by our waiter a very smiley Ali. Will not leave it so long for our next visit. Ed Rollo

Went fairly early, 7ish, on a Friday night and the place was already really busy with a mix all ages. Kicked off with an Espresso Martini and wondered why I'd not tried one before...could have drunk it all night! Provencal mussels, Goat’s Cheese Wontons, Lamb skewer and Tiger Prawns along with a couple of tomato breads went down a storm... More

Used to eat here regularly years ago but it seemed to have lost a lot of its charm and quality. The food was fine but nothing outstanding and the pLace was full of very loud lurid party goers. it may have just been bad luck that we were in on a bad night but it's not the sort of environment... Not the easiest place to find, or the nicest location, but this was a real find. Excellent food, reasonably priced and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were there the evening of the Italy vs England game and were invited back for the game. There are obviously a lot of regulars and a good night was had by... More
