Finally went to this restaurant after hearing several friends give it high marks. Including specific comments about it having a very good tomato sauce on the pastas. You can now add my name to the long list of people who think this is one of the top Italian restaurants in Newcastle. It's a basic restaurant with no frills as far... More

What a fabulous place! Courteous, attentive staff; great atmosphere. Hidden just off on to a side-street, it’s amazing how large it is (TARDIS-like). I went for two courses - the goat’s cheese salad starter with the chicken breast main - it was delicious and I left absolutely stuffed. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Newcastle.

We had a family meal at Paradiso for my husband's birthday. It was a fantastic evening. Great service and delicious food. We've been coming here for years now and it is always a treat. The steaks were a big hit with the birthday boy and the desserts were to die for.

We came in for dinner on a Saturday night around 7, and didn't have a reservation. We were lucky to get a table as it started to get busy after we arrived! Cute place, bustling atmosphere, lots of couples and families. We got the set menu, which unlike most set menus is actually available in the late evening, so that's... More

The restaurant was very quiet, but it was a Monday evening. I went because of its Trip Advisor ranking. I thought the service was very friendly, but a little slow to organise drinks. The meal was good but I wouldn't say it was exceptional. I had Pizza Pugliese which wasn't overly endowed with Parma ham, but was absolutely ok.

I love the food here and it has an inviting atmosphere. This is definitely one of my favourites in newcastle and I stop in every time I'm in town. I have brought many co workers and clients here and everybody has left happy. Highly recommend this restaraunt!

Had good buzz and didn't have that plastic fake feel that some if the newer places have. Good value set meal 2 or 3 course. Plenty of choice. Portions good size... More
