Been here many times before but this time was on Restaurant week 2014. Had the set menu, which for us was a bowl full of muscles and then the seafood pasta. Was absolutely unreal - super tasty! I'm a big seafood lover. They were able to provide gluten free pasta for me and it was lovely. Atmosphere was brilliant and... More

I really enjoyed my recent visit to paradise. The food is always lovely and staff are genuinely friendly and pleasant. I would recommend this restaurant to families or groups of friends, though quieter mid week evenings will also appeal to couples. (the restaurant is on the first floor down a side street so can be difficult to find at first)

We went early before going to The Theatre Royal to see a show. We were booked for 1730 hours and fell in just right for the £15 for three courses happy hour menu. Homemade Salmon Cakes to start followed by Coley Fillet. Absolutely delicious. The Tiramisu to finish was second to none. great Service, Great Food and Great Prices. You... More

Saw Paradiso on TripAdvisor and looked right up my street. Managed to turn up and get a table for three even though quite busy. We had avocado & beetroot salad, ravioli with sage butter sauce, porcini, asparagus and pea risotto and pizza. Service wasn't quick but was busy and we were well attended to throughout. Loved the red brick and... More

My girlfriend and I visited on a busy Wednesday night without booking and they very kindly got a table for us. We chose 3 courses for £15 from a set menu which is great value for money. She had the chicken stuffed with mozzarella and breadcrumbs and mash potatoes and I had the lamb kofta with humous and flatbread with... More

A warm welcome from Guiseppe, a reasonably priced menu, and one of the best omlettes I have ever eaten - why go anywhere else for an Italian meal in Newcastle?

Had the pleasure of visiting this family run Italian restaurant while on a quick visit to Newcastle. Real Italian welcome from proprietor. Lovely night so had a table outside. Very rustic and authentic feel. Have just had a pizza oven installed to cater for children so families welcome. I had a lovely fish dish and my partner had a superb... More
