Visited one Friday evening with my friends, we had been before and enjoyed the food so decided to return. We were not disappointed, we had the three course menu, loads to choose from, generous portions, so much so we were all struggling with our desserts. The staff were run off their feet, the place was full but they still managed... More

My partner and I visited Paradiso one Saturday afternoon in early September after reading great reviews on Tripadvisor and we were so pleased we did. The staff were really friendly and helpful but not overbearing despite the restaurant being quite busy. The food was delicious! I had the Red Pepper and Chilli Salsa with home-made coriander flatbread and it was... More

Trip Advisor reviews influenced my decision to visit on a Saturday Night with my wife. Phoned to book late afternoon and so glad we did. Busy busy busy and good good good. Possibly the best tasting pizza I have had even better than on our many visits to Italy! My wife enjoyed her risotto and the service was good considering... More

Visited here for a friends birthday on a busy Saturday night, before our meal we had drinks on the outside terrace which was a pleasant surprise and is a nice place to chill out with friends. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Quite a few of us got the same starters but we all selected different mains and nobody... More

Popped into Paradiso for lunch. It's tucked away in a trendy area of Newcastle. The restaurant is lovely inside and we were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. The Bruschetta was fantastic, one of the best I've had. They have a great lunch menu and prices were very reasonable, I would highly recommend it if you are in... More

On Saturday 13th September it was my wife's birthday and we decided to have our celebration at the paradiso. We have used this restaurant on numerous occasions and have never been let down but on Saturday it was exceptionally good, there were six of us and had the antipasto caldo to start, a mixture of skewered meats and cheese it... I've lived Newcastle for 8 years now and I must have walked past this place 1000 times, without realising that it was there. What a mistake! On arrival my girlfriend and I were greeted with warm welcomes and smiles. A great first impression. We hadn't booked a table in advance so they instantly accommodated us by making a table up.... I went for dinner on a Saturday night with my partner and two other couples. I had the antipasti for started and gnocchi for main course. Both courses were lovely and everyone enjoyed their food. Service was also good and there was a nice atmosphere. No complaints.

Stumbled across Paradiso by accident, our usual Italian lunchtime haunt was shut and I remembered a friend telling us about it. Really glad we went, food was really tasty, outside verandah if you wanted to dine al fresco. Pizzas were the nicest we have had in town, and Guiseppi was a charming and attentive host. We won't be going anywhere... More
