Everyone needs to stop not eating here every day forever. Best pizza I've had. £1 corkage meant I got to drink ale and eat amazing food. Will gain lots of weight here in the future.

We have walked past this resturant on many occasions but today however we stopped at the window to check out the menu. While there, a guy came out and offered us a takeaway menu. He appeared friendly so we decided to give it a go. The kitchen / food prep area looks lovely, clean, tidy and well organised, just as... More

So I don't normally submit reviews (this is my first one) - the pizza is great, really. Some of the best I've ever had. Some people here don't think so, but I guess that's cool; we don't all have the same taste. It's a bit pricy, yes - but so is Pizza Hut for a similar size of pizza. What... More

Dear Thomas, First of all, I'd like to apologise that you didn't feel welcome as the whole reason we opened the restaurant was for people not just to enjoy great pizza but also to have a great night out. Opening my own business has been the best decision I ever made, but it has also meant working hard 6 days... More

Having been to Italy and gorging ourselves with yummy pizza on a daily basis I am familiar with good quality Italian pizza. The pizza at Cal's Own is on par with the better ones I've eaten in Italy! I have been to this restaurant a couple of times now, and each time it never fails to impress me. Each bite... More

I went here for a special meal for my birthday. Although place was clean and the food was very nice - I had a very nice pizza - I thought it was a bit expensive for what I had. The place was small and it was very busy, the table for two was too small and it seemed to be... More

Cal's Own really stands out above the rest. The careful selection of ingredients is reflected in the quality of the pizzas they serve. I love the 'red pie', delicious on it's own without added toppings. It is unique and definitely worth a visit.

I really liked the food. And will be back for sure. Only criticisms are: A little oily for my taste. Found the Menu difficult to understand.

This is a place with a clear mission, to emulate the best New York Pizza restaurants. It does a great job. It's the kind of place you find in Shoreditch in London or even New York itself. Cool, and a queue to prove it. There's a great atmosphere, great staff and a small restaurant which is clearly an add on... More

Menu is super simple, B&B, the White Pie is probably the best pizza I've had in the UK. O added sweet Italian sausage to the top but it didn't really need it. Oh, and leftovers can be doggy bagged. It's busy, and it's easiest to get parked on a side street.
