Where do I start, we always order from Days of the Raj it's normally fantastic, but today was completely different. We ordered a very large order, coming to £53 we waited 1 hour for our food, which was okay, then the food came missing 2 dishes, we rang back to try and receive our missing items, the manager was incredibly... We've eaten here a few times, and it's generally been OK. Our latest visit was a let down though. It's our local Indian and we often go in quite early....this time at 7:15 on a Friday. The place was very quiet....just 1 other family eating, and a couple of people coming in for take aways. The service was as friendly... More

The DOTR has an early bird special which is good value for money. It also has a banquet special for an extra couple of quid which is better value with more choice. The four if us had a variety of meals and all were lovely (I had to taste theirs for review purposes!). I had a madras (my usual but... More

Value for money. Fantastic food. Lovely clean setting with nice relaxed & fantastic service. Been a lot as it's our local & we love it. Only down side a bit to much sauce sometimes. But with lots of rice & nan bread to mop it up it's fine. For a belly busting meal - try the 3/4 cause mmmmmmmmmmm In... More

We enjoyed great food and service here. A little more expensive than elsewhere but a great food experience in an elegant environment, food is very well presented. The biryanis were quite mild. The bhuna and Sri Lanka quite spicy/hot. The butter chicken creamy and mild. All very tasty and a great evening. Unhurried and relaxed. Thank you.

We often go there for a meal. The food and service are always excellent. A bit more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. The kids love the sweet selection after the meal. We'll be going again.

We eat here regularly, excellent for takeaways but restaurant is better, excellent attentive staff make you feel welcome and you never wait more than a few seconds for drinks ect if you need them ,takeaway seems busier than restaurant nowadays (probably with folk trying to save cash) but highly recommend a meal at the restaurant, great food and service and... Days of the raj is around the corner from where we live, it's an easy drive to collect a take away and easy enough walk if we want a sit down meal. However, we've only sat in once... ...the inside is beautiful, elegant, friendly and attractive; yet it is always very quiet when we go in. On collecting our take... More
