Good breakfast

Good food and varied menu for breakfast. Staff very friendly and good value. Only downside was there was no sausage or salmon available which unfortunately ruled out a lot of the options! Would return again if staying on the quayside.

Stopped for a late brunch on a Sunday. I waited at the counter for a table for a few minutes as it was very busy (which I always think is a good sign). A friendly waitress ensured I got the first table that came free. Great coffee and melt in the mouth Craster Kippers. Yum.

I have been now several times and never I have I been disappointed. Most of the time the place is full but I go knowing I might have to wait and don't mind doing so knowing that great food is around the corner. The staff are incredibly nice, polite and super friendly. There is no one I wouldn't recommend Quay... More

We went there on a Sunday morning after a big night out on the Saturday. Restaurant is very small, only four tables and very little space around each although the food was good. I had a full English but wanted to swap the mushrooms and back pudding for hash browns and baked beans but was told they dont swap but... More

I'm always looking for somewhere different to eat breakfast. As I work hard all week it's nice to find somewhere different with good standards. Restaurant is small with limited seating but the turnover is quick. Food was to a really high standard with recommendations from the staff and a friendly welcome. I think it is slightly overpriced for the area... More

Really nice breakfast spot! Very delicious ingredients and fresh coffee. The staff are really lovely! Very nice. The queue can get big. They offer bulletproof coffee also! The location is small. Great local art. Steps from the quayside. Worth a stop by!

Love this place. Small but perfectly formed. By far the best breakfast in the area. I especially love the proper mugs of tea. Great variety on the menu, lovely staff, friendly relaxed environment. Can't get enough of the place.

I have been to Quay Ingredient several times and each time have loved the friendly, warm, atmosphere. The food is amazing and I recommend it to everyone I know. I like the way they try new things and their menu is always evolving. I love the croque madame and the eggs benedict.

Popped in for just a coffee on a very cold day.. The place was heaving with customers but space made for me in a comfortable seat. Lovely coffee and the food looked and smelt fabulous but sadly no time to stay.
