Several flattering reviews, all worthy in my opinion. Eggs benedict with bacon was perfect. No soggy bun. No over Or under cooked eggs. Quality bacon. Breakfast burrito (questioned the mans food choice on this one but was entirely wrong) looked fabulous and was delicious (I'm told). Critical point - use of the term fresh juice. Clearly not freshly squeezed but... More

Small gem in the heart of town. Great lunch, always busy on weekends. I wish it was a bit bigger. The lady at the counter is always lovely and welcoming. Every time I'm in Newcastle, it is a mandatory stop. Eggs benedict and pancakes are to die for.

Stopped here for breakfast as had heard was good. We weren't disapointed. My husband had the kippers and I had the eggs Montreal, both delicious :) We knew it was small and tends to get busy quick so got there early to nab a seat. Had our daughter in her pram too, definitely not big enough for prams but as... More

Called in for breakfast yesterday having heard so much about the place and was not disappointed. I was asked if I wanted hash brown and beans with the breakfast but the girl who took my order did warn that even without this would be a generous portion. She was right and the quality was superb. As I left there were... More

This was an excellent choice for a Full English breakfast. The place is very small but we were seated quickly. The staff were very helpful, the food was cooked on order. My companion chose the soft boiled eggs and "soldiers" - which were perfectly cooked. I was particularly impressed with the bacon and black pudding as they were superb quality.... More

We decided to walk down to Quay side for the Sunday market and stumbled across this little gem! What a way to start the day! We both had the traditional breakfast and the food was outstanding to match the service. I will definitely be going back
