We've been here a couple of times for breakfast and lunch. Both were absolutely delicious. A great atmosphere, great staff and superb food. The only improvement we could suggest is a few more seats but this places small and friendly environment is what makes it so charming and delish!

Had been told about this place by two separate people on separate occasions and both recommended Eggs Benedict. When we arrived at, were surprised how small the place is but they pack you in without you feeling like a sardine. Waitress also commented that Eggs Benedict was House Special so two of those please. Absolutely nailed, so delicious and to... More

Myself & my boyfriend visited here due to the great reviews, we were not disappointed! The eggs are fab, the quality of all ingredients are great, for us we had the tastiest eggs benedict, sausages & black pudding we've ever had. A must to visit - brilliant chef.

Six of us descended upon this coffee shop for breakfast. We ordered a very diverse range of dishes. I had the eggs Benedict with Parma ham. Wow it was delicious. The eggs florentine were just as tasty. The full English breakfast came with two of everything. The bacon was thick and juicy, the black pudding perfectly cooked and the eggs... More

We had a late breakfast here and highly recommend this wee cafe. It's tucked away under the Tyne Bridge and easily missed, so thank goodness for trip advisor when planning your city break! Service was quick and portions a good size. The staff take great pride in what they cook and serve and I think the eggs benedict is one... More

Been here several times now and had an amazing breakfast every time. Small and compact, but they always manage to fit you in, if you don't mind waiting. It's certainly worth it. Eggs always cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a visit.

As it says in the title the best eggs ever. Perfect boiled poached or fried. They know how to make a breakfast and cook a proper egg unlike many breakfast establishments in the centre.

Excellent breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs, and some different options like poached eggs with asparagus and potato cakes. Delicious lunches too - maybe more expensive than other sandwich type options but way better. Simon is a proper chef, so will make all sorts of variations from the menu to suit the customer.
