Thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was all freshly cooked. I had Eggs Benedict with smoked bacon which was cooked to perfection. Tasted better than any I have had in numerous other restaurants. Amazing hollandaise sauce, really tasty bacon.Husband had Craster Kippers which he described as wonderful. But the greedy beggar refused to let me sample his! So next time I... More

Came here for breakfast with my girlfriend, very impressive. Eggs were cooked perfectly, well seasoned hollandaise, service was fine. Small inside so we had to share a table with another couple but that was fine by me. Probably the best breakfast I've had in newcastle

Have visited the (tiny) restaurant numerous times on the weekends for a nice late breakfast. The staff are always happy, quick, and very welcoming. When it comes to the food I can only comment on the Eggs Benedict (with Bacon), as it's all I've ever ordered, but it's just incredible. All the ingredients they use are fresh, the eggs are... More

I stumbled (literally) into this little shop in the pouring rain yesterday in Newcastle. What a find! The staff came straight to my aid moving furniture to accommodate my baggage. They were engaging and freindly. They had a varied and tasty menu and there was no problem my "outstaying my welcome" to sit working for a "spare" hour after my... More

Was here recently for breakfast. We had the full English and the omelette. Both were lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed it and wasn't too expensive either. Went here after reading reviews on TA and weren't disappointed. Staff friendly too.

I always go to Quay Ingredient on my lunch break and I've tried numerous things on their fantastic menu, including the cheeseburger, ham hock and pease pudding stottie and the cakes! It never fails to impress, plus it's good value for money, as the quality is fantastic. The service is fast and very friendly. I will be returning!
