Fabulous Breakfast!

Visited here August 2014. Only just getting round to writing up a review! Highly recommend going here for breakfast, eggs Benedict and the breakfast burrito are a must try! Not many tables as only a little shop so can be a little wait as is clearly popular. Worth waiting for a seat though!

Stayed in a hotel nearby. So pleased we chose to come here for breakfast. 12 of us ate here, all had amazing food and it was really cheap.

If you want the best breakfast in Newcastle, you need to be quick! Brilliant breakfasts draw a crowd and this place only has about 10 tables and fills up fast. It opens at 0800 and serves excellent, high quality food - full English of eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and BLACK PUDDING!! with the option of adding hash browns and... More

Starting the day with a proper breakfast is one of my favourite luxuries while I'm away. With a whole day of exploring ahead, I can't be dealing with just cereal or toast. My favourite breakfast of the trip was Eggs Hebridean from The Quay Ingredient . Crusty toast, crisp fried black pudding, soft poached free range egg and buttery Hollandaise... More

Quaint & well appointed restaurant and I can instantly see that it's a bit exclusive with excellent prices. Friendly service, great food. I can easily understand why it's one of the best 10 restaurants in the north east. Will certainly return.

Having visited on a couple of occasions now for breakfast items (they do other food) this is well worth a visit if you find yourself on the quayside and feeling hungry, sausage sandwich is one of the best I've had in Newcastle.

My Son had been here 4 or 5 times previously and the 2 of us decided to meet up in Newcastle and go for breakfast. This was in February, and the place was closed so on that occasion we had breakfast at Wetherspoons which is just around the corner, very nice it was too. We did arrange another visit to... More

This place was recommended to me. Stopped here after a lie in at our hotel on my birthday, and before walking up Grey Street to shop. We had a full English and an Eggs Benedict with smoky bacon, all washed down with two giant mugs of tea each. It came in around £20. The place was full but we managed... More

Popped in for lunch today and immediately liked the atmosphere. Ordered two coffees, homemade bacon burger and a Cajun wrap. We were told we would have to wait and we did - for 40 minutes. Saying that we weren't in a hurry and the food was worth waiting for. Lovely staff. Definitely worth a visit just don't be in a... More

Been really wanting to try Quay Ingerdient for about 2 years due to the ratings on trip advisor, so was looking forward to finding out what makes it so great. Only about 7 tables and very limited menu, and not even full when we went around 10am on a Friday, so was a little confused why there was a '25... More
