Fantastic food!

Visited on a Sunday night when the restaurant was fairly quiet. This did not affect the ambience of the restaurant which is beautifully decorated, and the staff were perfectly attentive. Visited on a Sunday night when the restaurant was fairly quiet. This did not affect the ambience of the restaurant which is beautifully decorated, and the staff were perfectly attentive. Having eaten here several times, I thought it fair to finally leave a review. Having visited Thailand several times, I can tell you that the food is authentic and outstanding. Service can be a bit iffy at times but it's traditional, decent value and bloody lovely food. My tip is order classics like Pad Thai, Green Curry etc as this... More

I have visited this Thai restaurants four times in the last month twice for lunch and twice for dinner. On all occasions the food was delicious and good sized portions. The service was efficient and the staff knew about the dishes and made recommendations too. The fish dishes and the papaya salad were very good. I have no complaints and... More

Arrived only to be told they had no reservation for us, seated us upstairs in a dark corner, so dark we couldn't read our menus, we asked to be moved & they moved us to a decent seat downstairs. Food was very very average. Wine was really bad, tasted of tin. Being polite we paid up & left. Definitely will... More

My first visit to this restaurant with a friend who had been before. We booked a table and were shown straight upstairs when we got there. It didn't really feel like a restaurant, more like a living room, especially as I was sitting right next to the fire place but I wouldn't say that this was a bad thing. I... More

My boyfriend and I came here for a meal on New Years eve and it was probably the best place we've been to for food; the food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. The staff are lovely and welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised at the value for money! To be honest we would've paid double it was... More

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and the flavours are always great. However, the chicken can often be chewing, hence the average rating.

Me and my partner visited her for kur belated Valentines meal and as lovers of Thai food we were not disappointed. The mixed platter for two was wonderful and filling and we ordered a Penang curry and a jungle curry whixh we both really enjoyed. We were very happy with the food and the staff were attentive and friendly. Overall... More

We had a very pleasant meal at the old Siam. We started with spicy prawns which were lovely, the sauce was v hot so be careful. For main we shared a pad Thai and green curry, both of which were very nice. Weren't overly keen on the thai wine though!
