I visited the restaurant three times in three days: twice for dinner and once for lunch. The food on every occasion was a step above anything I have had in a Thai restaurant. They even spiced things up for us on our latter visits. The food is exquisitely prepared and presented and tastes truly authentic. We tried a wide variety... More

My ladylove and I were seeking a Thai restò in the Toon and we came up with this jewel located in the quayside, named the Old Siam. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our starters and main dishes (Pad Thai). Wine choice was acceptable but I wouldn't recommend to order the Thai red wine, almost vinegar (bad one). The... More

We visited on a Friday evening without booking. Although the restaurant was busy we were found a table up stairs. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly. We went for one of the set meals. There was quite a variety of food, all very nice. Will definitely go back.

Visit quite regularly because the food is very good, and one of the closest I have found to authentic Thai cuisine. If you don't mind the old building and the fairly cosy rooms it's an excellent alternative to the over abundance of Italian and Spanish options around the Quayside. Try the Thai wine too, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I took my Husband for a surprise Birthday meal. I picked here because of reviews and ranking on trip advisor. I was firstly let down by the run down building and smell of drains and fat when we entered. We were taken upstairs and sat at the window but after 10 mins we were asked to move as a large... More

I'd passed the restaurant several times before but upon hearing roaring recommendations a friend and I decided to go. While it's quite small and was very just when we arrived we go a little table by the door to the kitchen/ toilet hall, not an issue my friend I are both in hospitality we understand the demands on a busy... Good food, I can't comment if it was 'genuine Thai' but it wasn't run-of-the-mill. Service was pleasant, and the meal was good value. Glad we found this place.

Have had several lunches here over the last few months. We returned because the food, although limited in choice is absolutely delicious. I usually have the Green Curry, it is so full of flavour, my other half has the Red Curry which is hotter. On one occasion some Thai people were in and they were delighted to be able to... More
