Went for a meal here on Saturday night. Had reserved a table at 7:45 but due to a taxi issue we arrived nearly 45 mins late & the restaurant was V busy. When we explained to the staff they said not a problem give us 10 minutes. 10 minutes later we were sorted for a table without issue. I had... More

We turned up on the sunday evening after the Bupa GNR, so we were half expecting not to be able to get a table. The staff were so lovely, and it didnt take long to find us a table for two. We love Thai food, so we were looking forward to this meal! And we werent disappointed. Being a vegetarian... More

We were greeted by some wonderfully cheery staff who saw us to our seat. They were very attentive without being overbearing. The menu is varied and reasonably priced with a good number of choices for drinks. We had a satay, crispy salmon fishcakes and green curries, all of which were superbly fresh and flavoursome. Beautiful little restaurant and one I... More

Arrived at the restaurant at 7pm and two separate tables set up for a party of 15, we had to sit with our backs to half of the guests as there was no room for a big enough table, not even upstairs. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough when it came to service, the food was... More

Well this was my second visit after a poor experience first time around; what a vast improvement. I couldn't fault anything about our visit, the service was impeccable, attentive, friendly and an absolute pleasurable experience. The food was amazing & one of best Thai meals I've had for sometime. We opted for Set Menu B, which consisted of mixed Thai... More

I have now been to this restaurant twice and from the first time, couldn't wait to return. The starter we had was the house mix and it was very tasty, then I had the deep fried salmon in red thai sauce and it was fab, I can still taste it now! My partner had deep fried sea bass and that... More

This place has a lovely atmosphere, very relaxed and welcoming. There is lots of seating on the upper level to the restaurant, however, we were sat in the downstairs part at the front which was very snug. My boyfriend and I opted for one of the set menus, the starter was a mixture of bits and pieces and all really... More

The Quayside in Newcastle appears to be undergoing a renaissance. This is the type of place that will keep your more discerning punter frequenting the area. The staff are lovely, the food is amazing, the ambiance good and the restaurant itself in a great old building with lots of character. Well worth a look....
