Friendly welcome and great service from the team. The food was equally good, a wide selection of authentic dishes, served piping hot and nicely presented. The restaurant itself can feel noisy due to the passing hordes, but in a way that also gives a fizz to the atmosphere. Good night out.

I have been here several times and each experience is better than the last. I don't understand some comments about the staff - they are quiet and respectful but attentive without being in your face. Great value, fabulous surroundings and superb food.

Suberb food and brilliant service, definitely worth a visit to this little gem! Worth booking in advance as can be busy at the weekend, but got lucky walking in late ona friday evening. Can recommend the red curry seabass or the chicken with baby corn! Delicious!! :-)

This is a very good restaurant. We ofthen eat Thai, but it never tasted as good as at the old siam. Authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price.

I've been here several times with groups and it's a good place to take a small party. The menu covers the whole breadth of Thai cuisine, the staff are very happy to help you navigate your way through it and good at suggesting combinations - also, they don't simply encoruage you to order more than you can eat. Everything here... More

I visited the restaurant three times in three days: twice for dinner and once for lunch. The food on every occasion was a step above anything I have had in a Thai restaurant. They even spiced things up for us on our latter visits. The food is exquisitely prepared and presented and tastes truly authentic. We tried a wide variety... More

My ladylove and I were seeking a Thai restò in the Toon and we came up with this jewel located in the quayside, named the Old Siam. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our starters and main dishes (Pad Thai). Wine choice was acceptable but I wouldn't recommend to order the Thai red wine, almost vinegar (bad one). The... More

We visited on a Friday evening without booking. Although the restaurant was busy we were found a table up stairs. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly. We went for one of the set meals. There was quite a variety of food, all very nice. Will definitely go back.

Visit quite regularly because the food is very good, and one of the closest I have found to authentic Thai cuisine. If you don't mind the old building and the fairly cosy rooms it's an excellent alternative to the over abundance of Italian and Spanish options around the Quayside. Try the Thai wine too, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
