I am really disappointed that I'm writing this review as I've been a supporter of this restaurant since it opened. I ordered a takeaway meal at half past 5 and was told I could collect it at 6pm which I did. When I got home, less than a mile away (I drove) I opened it and couldn't believe the poor... More

Eight of us visited this local restaurant recently and we were all very pleased with the experience. I found the menu to be very varied with dishes I have never seen on other Indian menus . We all had different meals and no way could we fault the standard of the food. We took our own wine and were not... More

Love this Indian, I do not know whether it's the decor with a difference, attentive service, great atmosphere or the sumptuous food or maybe the fact you can take your own tipple with you. With high streets losing businesses daily, with empty shop fronts looking ugly and blighting local areas I like to support local restaurants but going to Ma... More

My husband and I went to M'aida with my son and his Indian girlfriend and the food was delicious and surroundings calm and modern. The staff were all very attentive and as they dont have an alcohol licence you can take your own, so all in all a great experience. My sons girlfriend said the meal was the best she... More

If you prefer the sloppy garish coloured stuff served in most Indians these days then best look elsewhere!!. Undiscovered gem in NE15, from the unique menu, the modern decor, unimposing staff and value for money, with the option of taking your own wine yes true!!!,I ain't had better in 20 years FABULOUS

Nice food lots of choice. Food arrived pipping hot and well presented. Staff were attentive but not over baring. Loved the fit out of the restaurant. A lovely local restaurant can't wait to go back. Just one tiny thing take a jacket as it was a bit chilly.

After having been seriously let down by the local pub, despite booking two months in advance!14 ladies, some elderly, were accommodated at this restaurant. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and the food was excellent. Thank you to all the staff for rescuing our night out.
