Great Atmosphere & Service

Visited here on 21st March, the food is amazing, it is a little bit expensive but you really get what you pay for and the ‘tapas’ portions are more than generous, we got 7 between 2 and felt you could have had less. The place has a lovely atmosphere and the service was very friendly. I couldn’t... read more

Half an hour after our party had arrived before we were seated. Some kind of problem in the kitchen meant it was over an hour before our food arrived. In that case a free drink was not enough to compensate us, particularly when we were then charged for food we didn't order. Three of our party were also served pork... More

The food was fair, if not overpriced. You can get far nicer for much less in other places nearby. The service was absolutely dreadful though. Left between courses for significant periods of time, when questions were asked about ingredients eyes were rolled, no questions asked as to whether the food was okay/to our liking, asked if we "would like a... We went here for my husbands birthday and was overwhelmed by how nice the food and atmosphere was inside. A little expensive but you get what you pay for as the food was amazing! Can't wait to return again soon!

We visit this restaurant often as you can guarantee great food every time . We have tapas size so you can enjoy different flavours . Scallops are my favourite dish and randang lamb which is always great . Would recommend it for a group or couples ! Always great

Went here on a recommendation, food was very tasty sort of asian fusion type of thing. Brilliant place to take friends / colleagues who are up for something different...probably wouldn't go there for a quiet romantic meal as its layout is pretty open. Great place to drink too.

Visited here based on a recommendation from family member, its a breeze to get to if you park in the Waterloo Square car park and midweek this is free after 5pm! When we arrived there our reservation didn't seem to have been logged, but this wasn't a problem we were directed to the lounge area and enjoyed a relaxed look... More

Came here before heading to the cinema. Didn't realise it didn't open until 6pm so were standing waiting at door until opened. Service friendly and food served in reasonable time. Monday night so made use of 3 tapas for £10-ordered 6 tapas and some rendang chips which had been recommended. Was thinking the tapas would be very small given the... More

Faultless, insanely good value and delicious. Visited in the evening on Valentine's Day and was far and away one of the best restaurants in newcastle. The food brought back a flood of memories of authentic Thai and Cambodian food. I can say with absolute certainty the approval of this place was magnanimous and resounding. 10/10, will dine again.

The last time I was here was when this place was called Barn Asia - it's been a while now. The decor hasn't changed and neither has the quality of the food. Small selection on the menu, but really good fresh & vibrant flavours in everything. We had a selection of starters which were excellent - not huge portions, just... More
