We visited this restaurant last year and it was really good, so good I was a little apprehensive about returning! I needn't have worried. The staff were really friendly but more importantly the food was just fantastic. We had a selection of starters, passing them around and each one was just so delicious. The main courses were, if anything even... More

I had the rice balls as recommended by a lovely member of staff, it's like risotto balls very tasty. The main was delicious as well. All the staff were friendly. The menu was small, would be nice to see a few more choices on there but they were flexible in adding things or taking things out as all the food... More

OK I have reviewed this place before and I was very positive. There is no need to go over old ground and all I can say is that the food and service remain brilliant. I am just surprised that on a Tuesday evening it was relatively quiet. The tonic water my wife had before the meal was completely flat and... More

The food here was fantastic - fresh and inventive - and the atmosphere and decor are great. Service was a bit slow - but it was restaurant week in Newcastle and so was packed... The only slightly strange thing was that we were told there was no drinks menu so had to order without knowing any prices!! However we had... More

We came here for my husband's 50th birthday as this has been our favourite place to eat in Newcastle, we've made 3 trip advisor reviews of here before. Still very good food but it's restaurant week and I found the menu a bit too limiting compared to previous experiences. Still delicious though. Very good friendly service, the (I think) owner... I came here yesterday as part of restaurant week with high expectations after reading the great reviews and seeing a menu that looked like it went beyond the 'usual' Asian dishes. I came away disappointed in the food but it was good enough to give it a second chance. FOOD - Chili honey salmon was really very nice - Tempura... More

Served by friendly and efficient people in a themed restaurant - comfortable, idiosyncratic and with a flavour of its own. We really liked it!

Been meaning to go back to this place for ages now and I'm very glad I finally got round to it last week.
