This restaurant serves some of the best indian food in the North East.... The surroundings are very basic but is more than made up for with the sumptuous food on offer. Booking is recommended as word seems to have got around already. I had the tandoori Cocktail succulent and tasty. All diners in my party are pretty regular there I... More

Visited here on Saturday 29th Nov. didn't book but they still sorted a table despite being busy. Food was lovely as always. New staff who were brilliant and attentive when you needed them, which was great, and were very friendly and helpful. This is our go to place when we want our fix of Indian food.

I used to live a few streets away from Solomon's some 10 years ago and always enjoyed it. The restaurant is well off the beaten track in a suburb of Newcastle near to St James' Park. It is small (a converted terraced house) bright and cosy. Staff are attentive and friendly. The food is not what you want if you... More

A work colleague recommended this place as I am always on the look out for an indian take away that offers that extra wow factor. Our curry choices were fine but certainly did not give me that wow factor at all. Quite average really, though I would still go back and try something different. I did not realise that they... More

Had a dinner here with a friend consisting of 2 starters, the Sheek Kebab and mushrooms aloo chat followed by 3 main courses, one vegetarian, one fish and one meat. Everything was delicious and the service was faultless. We will come back!

I have been coming to this small restaurant for over 10 years now. It's very easily missed, but well worth a visit. The food used to be very cheap and delivered all on one plate when I first started going. And the staff we all students. Things have changed since. The decor, floor and prices have all changed. But don't... More

Love this place, an absolute hidden gem! I still can't get my head around how the value can be so good... Dirt cheap but the meat and everything is great quality! Love the fish starter and the spicy chips are well worth a try.
