Just have evening meal here after a work team building day. Was a little unsure about what the food would be like, it was lovely. We ordered a mixed buffet of small starters and main courses!! Very enjoyable.

Have to say was not looking forward to my 2nd visit as the 1st was so poor but considering they were catering for 16 I was pretty impressed with the service and food. Will give it another go on a quiet night. Happy birthday jocelyn cassia. Ed Rollo

The Chillingham road branch of Albaik opened as stake away Albaik Express. I had been told the food was not of the same quality as the restaurant in Byker. However since then the Chilli rd. branch is now also a restaurant and the food is excellent, the same if not better than in Byker and so far it doesn't seem... More

I visited here recently with a friend and was delighted by the whole experience. Food was cooked to perfection, service was fast and staff were friendly and attentive. The bring your own alcohol is a bonus too! Will definitely return and strongly recommend to everybody to try this place. Try the £15 or £20 per head platter - great variety... More

A hidden gem of a place with delicious food and friendly and courteous staff. A suprising find in a unpopular part of town. Very busy and must book but remember to bring your own bottle!

We visted at lunch time and had the £15 per head option and the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommended!

It may work up north but this place has an entirely undeserved reputation. Don't be taken in. The food is average at best and the service surly.
