Watch where you put that pen!

Valentines day isn't complete without going for a couple of drinks with your partner in the evening. Her chosen destination was a cocktail bar, therefore food was needed before hand to provide us with a bit of a lining on our stomachs. Roberto's was surprisingly empty for it being this time of the... read more

We stumbled across this little Italian restaurant yesterday and were attracted by the various offers in the window, once through the door we were greeted by the friendly member of staff who swiftly showed us to a table. For a Saturday lunchtime they were surprising busy but this did not slow down the efficient service, we soon received our drinks... More

This little Italian restaurant is now in my top 3. I've eaten in many Italians and I have to say I'm surprised by some of the comments against this. Place. The food was outstanding, the bruschetta was one of the best I have ever tasted. The pizza was lovely and thin and crispy as full of toppings. The waiter was... More

Saw this advertised on the back of a leaflet in our hotel and decided to give it a try as it was just around the corner. We were greeted at the door and shown straight away to a table. Although a lot of the menu is standard Italian fare, there are some gems. I went for the black pudding and... More

I came here with my department on Friday night, we had booked a table in a different restaurant but they let us down at the last minute! One of our party called around and was laughed at by most places, but Robertos said they could take us! There were 13 of us out, the staff were all lovely and so... More

Very surprised by the one star reviews as we thought it was great. It's not 5 star dining but it's always a good sign when it's busy at 16:00pm on a Sunday afternoon and local Italians are eating there. All staters were wolfed down and the black pudding in peppers sauce was mighty fine. The pizzas were given the thumbs... More

My girlfriend and I were hungry after spending some time in Newcastle. We were looking for a decent place to eat and found this Italian restaurant and decided to eat there. We didn't even think about that an Italian restaurant can be so bad indeed as the Italian food is famous worldwide. I was trying to remember when it was... More
