no cons all pros, amazing menu, a lot of different obscure in a good way choices, great value portion to price ratio, but still so many good flavours, waiter offered really good knowledge about the dishes. So I was able to try something I have never had before. Well done more of the same please.

I have visited Luigikhan's several times now, the food and service are excellent. As far as I am concerned there is no better place in Newcastle for a Balti that is brimming with flavor and full of fresh herbs and spices. I will be back, as someone once said. :-)

Went here whilst working in the area on recommendation of my TA app. I was starting to think that Newcastle had no decent curries to offer. How wrong I was! Had liver tikka to start. Dare I say it was the best I've ever had. Oh he'll yes, even better than Akbars, and theirs is 1st class. Had lamb achari... More

I visited with a friend who also loved Indian food. The place was nice and quite spacious, and the food was, I wouldn't say amazing, but definitely above average. The downside is that it is a bit pricey considering other Indian restaurant in Newcastle. Worth a visit though, if you also love Indian food.

Best Curry ever :-) Great atmosphere, curry really tasty. Was made to feel very welcome and the waiters were very helpful. Didn't have too long to wait for meal, however, make sure you leave room for desert ! I have been twice now and will return once I have told all my friends how good it is!

Upon arriving I was looking for the restaurant entrance which is the same entrance as the adjoining hotel. A large wooden door, not ideal as it should have its own entrance but it is what is. The decor is modern maybe to modern but then again it may just be me. Quite dark, golden frames on wall with no pictures... More

Well worth a little trip up Westgate Road; look out for the Ryokan Great Western Hotel; not necessarily the best recommendation in a less than welcoming area but Luigikhans is where it is and ' is what it is'. The restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel has had serious money spent on it and i think it has... More

Having been to this restaurant before and experienced the superb Indian cuisine that they have we thought that it was time to go back and have another excellent meal. We were delighted that the meal was even better than we remembered from the last time we were there. Overall it is a big thumbs up !!!! and look forward to... More
