It's just brilliant.

This restaurant is a little out of the way, and as far as I know they don't do deliveries, but it's well worth the trip. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the food is absolutely delicious, and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Try the punjabi tikka masala.

I initially liked this place but after a repeat visit found the food lathered in coriander and the heat (spice) from the dishes was disappointing even after asking about the spice levels. I had the vindaloo and asked for it to be hot but realistically it was about as hot as a tikka masala. Sadly the "heat" seems to consist... More

This is a really good Indian restaurant adjacent to the Western Hotel - service was excellent and the food was universally of a very high standard. It is not, however, and does not pretend, to be haut cuisine. It is simply a very good local restaurant doing what it does very well and with real enthusiasm.

Came over from Sunderland to try one of the best in Newcastle and was not disappointed. The whole evening and experience from the décor, service, food and cocktails was absolutely spot on. Some of the best Indian food I have had in a long time. Hard to fault in any way and the owner was genuinely interested in how our... More

We travelled about 30 miles to the restaurant to meet the other half of our party who had been and the football that day. We were taken to our table and after a short while, our drinks orders were taken, served promptly and with a smile. The rest of our party arrived shortly after, drinks again were ordered, served and... More

While the food was decent to good the plates took more than an hour to come out if the kitchen. We were sat at a table between the bar and the kitchen while all of the staff had to pass us as they served other customers we had to flag down servers to inquire about the food.

Absolutely brilliant food and service, went on 5/2/16 with the Mrs for an evening meal. Premises was very clean and well set out tables well spaced not sitting on top of one another. Staff were excellent , offering advice on menu, well presented and friendly. The food was amazing, very generous portions, no extended waiting times between courses. The food... More
