Not too impressed

Booked a table for 4 and arrived on time. Impression that they were way over stretched and this was evident in the time we waited. The food was Ok but not value for money and we waited over an hour for main course. Very small portions of pasta dish and risotto but the pizza was decent. On... read more

Booked a table months in advance for a 60th birthday for half 7 for 15 people we arrived on time and yet had to wait just over half an hour for our table. We had stood at the entrance next to the bar and overheard people having the same problem, it seemed like they were over booked and were taking... More

We had to wait 30 minutes to just to be seated, although we booked in advance. People with later bookings got prioritised as the waiters were stressed and urorganised (and rude, however I blame it on the fact that they were stressed). We then had to wait for an hour to get our starters, which must have been sitting around... More

I spent Valentines at Adrianos as it has become my bf and I's 'spot' and it was delicious. There was a lot of seafood on the menu and as I don't touch it, it was limited for me on the starter front. I decided to try something I usually hate which is calves liver and it was delicious. If anyone... More

Came here to celebrate my sons birthday and his fIrst pay packet. His treat for us. The service was terrible. They have clearly forgotten that a restaurant experience should be special for everyone. Their guests may routinely eat out or this could be a very special occasion. Such a shame that a landmark occasion was spoilt due to the indifference... More

Came here on a Saturday night, restaurant was busy which added to the atmosphere. Portion sizes were large - the fritto misto and pate were lovely as were the salmon parcels to start. There was a large choice of pastas - seafood ravioli and aubergine pastas were good. High prices than other near by italian restaurants, however they do use... More

One of our party had the asparagus and salmon pasta which was absolutely delicious. However someone else had a pizza which was disappointing: amongst the topping ingredients were raw tomatos, raw onions and the dough wasn't cooked either. Rather pricey and unsatisfactory for a mid-week meal - we will not be back

Enjoyed early Saturday evening family meal from the "early evening" menu. Good choice of starters (incl. prawns with chilli and timbale of rice, mixed garlic mushrooms and a huge slab of chicken liver pate). Very good mains too - catch of the day was red snapper which my wife enjoyed and I had a great chicken in white wine. Daughter... More

My daughter suggested that we try Adriano's in Gosforth for Sunday Lunch and I was aware of the place so thought it was a good call. I booked the table for 6 and we arrived well on time. The set Sunday lunch looked good value, starter, main and sweet for just over £12. A few of us ordered the buffalo... More
