Good food, service a let down

We used to come here a lot, a beautiful restaurant tucked away. My seven year old requested we come here as her treat for a good school report. We went early evening and were greeted warmly and seated immediatley. We were then however forgotten about. We had to call someone over for our drinks... read more

If you like your food served to you cold, under cooked and bland, you've found the right place. If you like being served by rude, opinionated staff, stop reading this and book! Was given the run around when I asked to speak to the manger. Was told he was on holiday. When I asked someone else, they told me he... More

Great freshly prepared food and excellent happy hour early evenings. The pizzas are really thin and crispy! The roof light makes the restaurant feel quite spacious.

Nice friendly restaurant with good menu the Pizzas are beautiful. And on a sunny day you can sit outside.

I eat here regularly, family, friends, colleagues - it is beautiful, relaxing and classy. The food is simple but amazing. Affordable and well worth any slight wait. Book a table as even weekdays are full = says it all really.

Friendly service and a very pleasant courtyard out the back. I've eaten here before but not for a very long while. The delicatessen is the best in the area but there really isn't much competition.

Visited the restaurant with some friends on a very busy evening. Our table for 10 as ready for us on time. Thoroughly enjoyed my sea food risotto, which had a generous helping of salmon, smoked fish and prawns. The portion size was also generous. The wines consumed were pleasant if a little pricey. We shared some starters and had no... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal and great value with the special early evening menu. Complimentary bread and olives, generous portions for starters and steak included in the mains options! Service and ambience were good, place is popular and busy - always reassuring! One suggestion - a sauce with the steak would have lifted it to a new level! Maybe next... More

Excellent selection of wines, and the menu is extensive. Good service. Family friendly. They were able to seat us fairly quickly without a reservation. I would return again!

We visited Adrianos in Gosforth on Saturday night it's slightly out of Newcastle but well worth a visit. It's got a lively Italian vibe and even though it was really busy the atmosphere was relaxed and the air conditioning made the room very pleasant. I don't know how they do it but you walk in from a busy High Street... More
