Description: As if the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Art Gallery weren't...
As if the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Art Gallery weren't enough reason to visit Newcastle's Quayside, there is also Gusto. Make the most of those sunshine days on the beautiful terrace, and when the evening (or the clouds) draw in, step inside the large, lively bar - with a superb choice of wines and cocktails. Add a 200-year-old olive tree, sprinkled in fairy lights, and Gusto Newcastle makes any day magical.

Had my son and family over from Guernsey and we came along for an early evening meal. Even so it was busy but as per usual the service was exceptionally good and the food very tasty. And my 7yr old granddaughter just loved the 'make your own pizza' idea! We had a fab night and very good value for money

Visited GUSTO Newcastle recently for a birthday celebration. Cocktails were delicious (made by and recommended by barman Brynn) - very professional with all the finishing touches - a pleasure to watch them being made before we took our seats at the table. Food was delicious. Following hospital treatment I can't eat certain additives in foods, and Lauren, our waitress was... More

Went here with friends, service was slow and the food well over priced. So many other places to go in Newcastle where they cook fresh food and not frozen food like this place.

We ate here 3 times during a 3 night stay in July 2015. Our stay coincided with the “graduation fortnight”. So all the restaurants at the Quayside were very busy and this one was no exception. We managed to get in without a booking on the first night and then booked thereafter. The restaurant was heaving with all the tables... More

I've been here on several occasions and never been disappointed. Very contemporary decor and I prefer the seating upstairs to downstairs. Steaks are slightly on the expensive side but excellent quality.

I had a fantastic meal here in Newcastle with business colleagues in a very warm and welcoming environment. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. Would come back in a heartbeat for anything from a quiet meal to a group party. The food was top drawer.

Lovely tasty meal with friendly service. Although the place was very busy we were well looked after. The location was ideal for us staying just across the river.

We ate here in the early evening but it was still very busy. The service was outstanding with attention to detail. The food was very good and the wine by the glass was good value. It was convent for both the Premier Inn and the Malmaison. It is a short walk across the Millennium Bridge to the Sage.
