Description: As if the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Art Gallery weren't...
As if the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Art Gallery weren't enough reason to visit Newcastle's Quayside, there is also Gusto. Make the most of those sunshine days on the beautiful terrace, and when the evening (or the clouds) draw in, step inside the large, lively bar - with a superb choice of wines and cocktails. Add a 200-year-old olive tree, sprinkled in fairy lights, and Gusto Newcastle makes any day magical.

Great menu choice in lovely surroundings

Great menu choice, enjoyable food. Service good but a little slow but perhaps that was just lunch with a big party. Lovely surroundings in a great spot.

Four of us had lunch last week, lovely resteraunt , excellent location down by the Quayside, staff very attentive, have to say food was just average, had much better pizza's elsewhere and my wifes pasta was pretty basic. We did not consider it good value for money.

Had a fab night here whilst visiting family in 'The Toon'. Starters, mains and wine all delicious, especially the pizza (something along the lines of a diavola/calabrese,can't quite remember).Excellent value for money and lovely service. Skip the arrabiata though,it was tastless, a dish which, IMO, should be easily perfected. Would definitely return.

Staff are a delight and are extermwly helpful and nice. The food tasted really well but for some reason we both had very heavy bellies lasting for hours afterwards! I am not sure if this is pur bellies fault but this has happened the last time we ate here and its becoming a bit too much for a simple coincidence!

This place is great. The service that we received was exceptional. Callum was the young man who had been serving us and his manner was absolutely amazing. The food was also fantastic as the pizzas were well filled and bursting with flavour. Brilliant!

We called here for a meal for my 40th birthday. The service was excellent, such pleasant, helpful staff. My starter and mains were absolutely delicious, such amazing flavours and perfectly presented. I was too full for dessert. We are staying here from Chesterfield in Derbyshire. - We will be back! Pat on the back for all staff.

Having visited the restaurant on many occasions we can recommend this for a family meal , a romantic meal and a celebration meal. The service and food are always very good - certainly worth a visit. Check out their dining club for great savings!
