After a long absence, even though just on my doorstep, the better half and I decided to give this another try. My memory of it was great food and good atmosphere. Whilst the staff were very friendly, I found the food quality quite disappointing. There didn't appear to be the range of food there used to be and the meat... More

Having been in the past for meals at lunch and tea time we found that Tay Barns was great value for money however the same cannot be said for the breakfast. Full breakfasts at over £8 each and there is no option just to get some tea and toast. Food was however good but I think they need to look... More

very good value for money,4 people can eat & drink as much as you like for under £28[it was an offer].But at the dearest times, still very good value, cant go too often,as you put on too much weight.food is constantly replenished, and is of reasonable quality.Ideal for families,or groups of people that enjoy different things. Will go back again, wish they had a Taybarn... It amazes me how a mother and father can allow children to pile there plates high with this terrible food! Or the fat slobs who ram it down there neck wile there children run riot, screaming and shouting - I hate the food but you do get what you pay for so in that respect it's alright. But parents need... A great place to be for children who cant make up their mind what they want to eat. They can have ice cream and fish n chips altogether if they want and go back time after time for more. The car parking was a little tight and spaces were only available when someone left. The car park itself is just... More

The food is cooked then stored under lamps which isnt exactly appealing. We have been a couple of times and each time the table has been dirty and we havent even been at peak times. The staff always look miserable and unapproachable.
