Fantastic Food and Service.

After reading some other reviews I can only think the waiting staff are different now. The waiter who served us was very attentive and friendly ( had plenty of time for us and spoke at length about Turkey ) food was awesome and will certainly visit again when next in Newcastle.

As a frequent customer of Red Mezze I would recommend anyone who has a liking for Turkish/Greek food to pay this restaurant a visit. Good food, decent prices, and attentive service!!

If there is one thing that I love, it is to visit a no frills restaurant that just serves delicious food. In Red Mezze, I scoped out my environment and noticed what everyone else was ordering and all looked amazing. So from this I ordered the hummus and the lamb livers for starters followed by the Andana lamb kebab. The... More

As we were in Newcastle this is the only place to have lunch. We do go regularly and it was nice to be recognised by the waitress. Our two course lunch meal was faultless. The combination of flavours erupting from the plate was amazing and the chicken was so succulent. The portion sizes were excellent too. We were well and... More

First off the food in Red Mezze was really nice, well cooked and promptly served. The problem we had was with the service - a stony faced, impatient waitress did not exactly put us at ease, and with no acknowledgement of how the meal was when the plates were taken. The biggest insult however was being presented with the bill... More

We decided to return to the Red Mezze after not having been there for a few months and were really pleased that we did . It is by far the best Turkish restaurant in town - the food and service can not be faulted . We have tried others but will certainly be back here again soon .
