Visited this restaurant for the first time. After a trip to Vietnam last year, we fancied reliving the memory. Went in for lunch. No one else in at 1.30pm - should have been a warning! Beer and a coke (totally flat) as we read the menu. Veg spring rolls and seafood platter to start. Very nice! Ginger chicken and beef... More

The food choice at Little Saigon is extremely varied and is sure to offer something for most. I opted for the caramelised pork. Although a nice and good quality dish, it was slightly peppery and a bit bland for my taste. The staff were polite and friendly. I would definitely return and try some of the other dishes that looked... More

Came across this restaurant by chance but it was everything we wanted. From the special we got a starter and a main for £10. I had chicken satay to start and lemongrass chicken for main, my partner had konkol beef and caramel pork. All were delicious, with fresh, subtle flavours that were delicious but not overpowering. Attentive staff and a... More

visited as a couple and my hubby had noodles, which were lovely: hot and tasty. My monkfish was good but I was surprised by the lack of sauce. Good atmosphere - the staff were attentive, but not over the top. Overall a really good experience.

We went as a group of friends for restaurant week in newcastle. The restaurant itself is large and spacious with a beautiful mural. The staff were friendly and efficient and the menu offered a wide variety of choice. The food is served traditionally with chopsticks, banana leaves and individual pots with various accompaniments which makes the experience feel authentic. The... More

I love this place. It always serves great tasting food at very reasonable prices and I am equally comfortable eating here solo (at lunchtimes), having fun with friends or breaking the ice with new business acquaintances. If you are part of a group seeking some entertainment, for the main course I recommend the 'steam boat' options, where you cook the... More

I visited the restaurant last night after hearing good things from a colleague at work. I'd never tried this style of food before but I was very excited. It is currently restaurant week in Newcastle so it was probably busier than normal however we (2 of us) got seated within 5 minutes of arrival without a reservation. We were taken... More

Hi, First of all, thank you so much for leaving such a detailed comment so we are well-aware of the situation and know exactly what to improve. It is certainly our fault to make the food delivery time taking too long to arrive to you. We are very sorry that your last experience was not satisfied, however, we are glad... More

Some time ago this restaurant was recommended to us but this was our first opportunity to try it. Why oh why didn't we get here sooner. The food was really good and full of flavour. These days so many places say they are Vietnamese or Thai only to serve pretty tasteless sort of Asian food but NOT here, the food... More

We came here last minute for a birthday meal. It was a comedy act literally from the waiter and waitress we were assigned. I arrived ten minutes after everyone else, I asked for a amaretto and lemonade. 20 mins later I still didn't have my drink and we still hadn't been asked what we would like to eat. The barman...
