The service here was impeccable - really upset I didn't manage to get any of our waiters names as I definitely was impressed. Came on a Wednesday evening for the three courses for £19.50, definitely worth the money! We shared the chinese and spinach soufflé and the pork salad - both were great! I had the pheasant for mains and... More

Have been visiting this restaurant for over a year now mainly on a Saturday. Have always found the food excellent and the staff very friendly. They do an excellent cheese souffle. Wonderful. Their fixed price menu is really great value for money. Great restaurant.

We went as a family of five to the Cherry Tree on a busy Saturday. We loved the cosy ambience with the open dining area, low lighting and excellent pianist playing softly. Dinner was really very good indeed. I had scallops with belly pork to start and haddock as a main course. The scallops (perhaps a bit on the smallish... More

I took my Mum here for her birthday along with family and friends. I'd planned to go to the excellent Pan Haggerty, but learned it had sadly gone out of business. I have actually never been to Jesmond for a me before, so I didn't know whether to expect something a bit studenty. As soon as we walked in we... More

A wonderful evening as ever at The Cherry Tree. Very attentive waiting staff, despite the place being full. The food was fabulous, and we really enjoyed the great entertainment. All of our group of 6 had a fantastic NYE. We didn't stop eating, drinking, talking and having fun all night!
