I have been going here weekly for the last 3-4 months and I must say the food is absolutely excellent. It all centres around a fortnightly menu which is well thought out and the dishes are very well presented and full of flavour! So far all the dishes I have had from their kitchens have been absolutely excellent - and... More

We arrived and were immediately welcomed by the house staff who quickly seated us within the bar area and took our drinks order whilst we looked through the menu and were really excited over the menu and there was definitely something for everyone. I went for the Homemade Goats cheese and the Lamb whilst my Husband went for the King... More

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, very nice welcome and surroundings. Food was fresh and of good quality and presentation was excellent. Waitress was polite and friendly and very informative. Looking forward to returning again in the near future.

Brought my parents here when they were up visiting. They had a restaurant week menu running, although not officially part of restaurant week (like their usual early bird one but all night which was useful as they didn't arrive till 8pm!) Table booked 9.15pm but managed to get seated by 9pm. All went for the spinach and cheese souffle which... More

We went for dinner with my mother. Food was perfectly tasty but very small portions. Nothing we had passed the home test - that is there was nothing I couldn't have made my self with relative ease. Service was slow.

Went early evening and had the set menu. The food on the set menu was very good value for the quality of the cooking and ingredients, left feeling we had eaten well without being over full. Service throughout was excellent, always available when needed without being overly attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality meal.

Been to the cherry tree for Sunday lunch. Was very impressed. Came for a birthday lunch on a Thursday. Had booked but was very quiet at 2 pm in the afternoon. Lunch time special was on. Had the braised bay squid and rump steak. The squid was melt in the mouth. The steak rare as requested. Not a deset fan... More

Had great night at the Cherry Tree for a retirement night. We booked the private room (which is ideal for a group) and the food and service were lovely. Our waitress was so pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you Cherry Tree for a lovely night.

We went with a group of 11 after my daughters Graduation and had their set menu. The food was very nice and presented well but, portions were small and lacking substance, The seafood dishes were certainly not very filling. Like other peoples comments, we found it very slow. We had an 8.30 booking and even when the resuarant had mostly... More
