I visited The Cherry Tree on Saturday with 10 work colleagues. We have not been before and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a room to ourselves and the meal was one of the nicest that I have had at a restaurant in a long time. Lavinia who was our waitress did a fantastic job and kept the wine, water... More

With a beautiful lunch afterwards. The lunchtime menu is below £20 a head for 3 courses of quality food is exceptional value. I highly recommend you try it.

I had the mackerel to start and my friend had the blue cheese soufflé, both were delicious, and the right size starter portions. we both had the steak for a main, and they were good exactly as we had requested.... It was probably one of the best starters I have had, the salmon was cooked to a perfection and the pickled cucumber was just right not too sour and not too... More

They also put automatic service charge of 10% on our bill, whilst this is acceptable for a large... More
