Very nice food, nice varied menu

We ate breakfast and Sunday lunch here as part of our stay at the Vermont. My breakfast choices were cereal, toast, tea, orange juice, followed by a bacon butty. It was a fairly simple selection, mostly self-service, the bacon was a little underdone but overall, nice effort. Sunday lunch was a... read more

The food and service was fantastic, would highly recommend. Prices very reasonable. Ross our waiter was very attentive and will definitely go a long way in the servicing world and be an outstanding restaurant manager one day. Will recommend to family and friends it is a brilliant place for dinner and (as I've heard) afternoon teas. It's inside vermont hotel... More

We called in here one lunch time to check it out for dinner later on. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was most helpful to us, we were shown the menus and decided to book for later that day. We wanted somewhere that was walkable to (in high heels) as we were staying nearby at Roomzzz, this restaurant... More

This has been here for a good few years and the lack of reviews suggests it is either not that popular or people review it under "Vermont Hotel". We were here as my Mum had bought us a voucher for the £69 wine and dine last Christmas. (3 courses for 2 people plus a bottle of French wine). And we... More

That was our first visit but will certainly not be the last. We went to celebrate our engagement and when we were shown to our table they had decorated it which was such a special touch. We both had three courses and all the dishes were presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Again a special touch for our pudding they had... More

As per my review of the hotel, the Bridge restaurant is highly recommended. Dinner menu choice very good. They do a 3 course meal for 2 including a bottle of good French wine for £69.
