Brilliant service and food as usual. I would recommend to anyone who likes Thai food! It's not just Thai food! It's an authentic Thai food!

Four of us ate here on a Saturday night. The menu hasn't changed since I moved to Guildford ten years ago and in comparison to other Thai restaurants like Sir and Madam, the options are a bit limited. The food quality wasn't great - my Thai fishcakes had bones and the meat was tough. Service is polite yet distant. At... More

I have been to this restaurant twice and been thoroughly impressed both times. For me the highlight is the main meals, beautifully flavoured and perfectly cooked vegetables and seafood. We went as a group of 6 and everyone loved it. The dishes are very nicely decorated - I cannot help but think it is a shame to behead so many... More

I've eaten at Rumwong a few times and need no persuasion when someone suggests going back. The menu options are mostly what you'd expect from a Thai restaurant but executed so much better than in most other places. This is probably the best Thai food I've had (having never been to Thailand, I should point out). I've never had a... More

We dined here after a performance at G Live and so it was very convenient for an after theatre meal. All the dishes we had were delicious, light and beautifully spiced. The service was very attentive. The wine list is not all that inspiring, but they serve a good range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails and beers. Good value... More

The best place for Thai food. The starters are amazing, the best dishes are the fred chicken wigs, mixed seafood and the thai green chicken curry. As the theatre is next door and they have a theatre meal. it's the best place to eat for a celebration with lovely food. The Thai cocktails are wonderful!. The service is friendly, welcoming... More

This restaurant is very conveniently located for the G Live theatre venue being literally just across the road. The menu features the usual Thai classics plus a lot of Thai interpretations of Chinese food. Service is fast and friendly and the food is very tasty but personally we would have liked to see far more Thai food and less of... More

Visited on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was absolutely packed! Always a good sign. Attentive service, lovely fresh ingredients at reasonable value. The prawn stir fry was fresh and perfectly spiced. Everyone in my party enjoyed it. Would recommend.

There's a kind of throwback to restaurants gone-by at Rumwong. It's been in Guildford for 30 years, and the waitresses blouses probably date back that far. But, still, it's a lovely restaurant, if a bit stuffy and stiff. The staff is pleasant enough, but rather charmless. I get the sense that there's a bit of tension coming down from the... More

Went there for the first time last night on the recommendation of friend. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable (I had three courses, two soft drinks and some lemon grass tea for £25).Also,the service was very prompt. We waited just 5 minutes between courses! If I am ever in Guildford again I will definitely be paying another visit.
