One of the Last Proper Pubs in Surrey

Had a birthday meal here for nine people on the 22nd of January. We have always loved the Bull as it one of the few proper pubs in Surrey, with superb home-made traditional food and an atmosphere to match. The food was lovely (especially the pies, which are second-to-none!) and fantastic value... read more

We went to The Bulls Head for my sons 18th birthday supper. The food was great, service with a smile and a lovely atmosphere. The Bull really is one of the last traditional English Public Houses left, long may it continue.

Lovely little unpretentious pub, not many left. We were lucky enough to get a table without booking, you have to be early to get one on a Sunday lunchtime. Food was tasty home cooked and reasonably priced. Small range of good ales.

This place is a good example of a traditional english pub serving traditional english pub food, and good it is too!! Having dined here before it was a welcome return and once again to enjoy the homemade pies.My wife had steak and mushroom and I had chicken and leek. Both were excellent. Many of the desserts are homemade so we decided to share... The wife and I stumbled across this on our journey to Leith Hill. Lots of parking, friendly staff, beautiful little historical pub. Inside was cozy and they had a good selection of local ales. The Sunday roast pork was magnificent and the country breakfast (bacon, sausage, egg and chips) was a delight. The chips were extra amazing. They had quite... More

Been going to the Bulls head for many years as we are always sure of an excellent home cooked meal. The pub has a lovely old fashioned atmosphere and plenty of regulars who know where to find some good grub. Quite a broad range of items on the menu and lots of nice puds ( if you can fit one... It has been awhile but I keep returning to my favourite places. Cosy little traditional English pub, relaxed, friendly and welcoming. The staff are lovely and you get loads of food - value for your money, freshly prepared and an all round great experience. My all time favourite is Steak and Kidney Pie, boiled baby potatoes, 3 fresh seasonal veges... More

Last Friday sent another very enjoyable evening in this Pub with friends. Not only is this lovely old pub very traditional but the food is fantastic Totally home cooked with fresh ingredients which is such change. Had the Home made pie again as did two others with my wife going for the liver. Great portions great taste.
