Outside a sign that says Robert Newland slept here. He was the highwayman who gave Newland's Corner its name and the Bull's Head it's historical feel. The traditional English fayre (but not exclusively) makes this a very popular haunt of mine and many who come from far and wide. Superb food, staff and atmosphere

I should have trusted my instinct when we were able to book a table straight away when everywhere else was fully booked locally. We arrived and whilst my husband was getting our daughter our of the car my 7 year old son and I went in to get our table. We and the people in front of us went to... More

Back again, cant's stay away for too long. The food and service is always amazing. The home made steak and kidney pie (with loads of gravy) is the best ever. Served with 3 fresh vegetables and baby potatoes, more than I can ever eat. See you all again soon xxx

The Bulls Head is a real "Old World" with lots of beams and corners. There is a specials daily menu and a printed one. Try the Clandon Pie it was delicious as was the Lamb Henry. Home made food serving tradition British Fayre. The portions are large and the meal are piping hot. Prices are slightly below average and represent... More

Went for Sunday lunch here with my family and had a very good meal indeed. There were 8 in our party and I am pleased we had booked or we would not have got a table as the place was very busy. This is a realold world gem with none of the pretentions of a gastro pub. The bar is... More

The beer was good and lager. The atmosphere was typical of an olde world pub, not a gastro pub! The food was tasty and plenty of it for the price. Would return but not always in the area.

Roast Pork and all the trimmings, freshly prepared, loads of gravy, 3 veges and just delicious. Most probably the healthiest meal I have had in a long time. Service always great and such a cosy little pub still fighting the odds and being a traditional Olde Worlde English Pub. Please don't ever change !

An old coaching inn at Clandon. Always get taken there when visiting Surrey. It's a very pleasant place to sit & chat with friends. Drinks from the bar right beside eating area, food most enjoyable. I love the steak & ale pie & always something nice for dessert. Recommended..

VEGETARIAN DISHES -- these were the only ones missing from a very interesting menu, and would be appreciated. We have been there twice recently -- the first reluctantly because the last visit some years ago was a disaster, the second time because we found the first so good, and we shall be going again. Old pub atmosphere, wonderful home-cooked pies... More
