We ate here with our best friends and we're not disappointed. The service was excellent - food prompt and delicious. The waiter was very polite and helpful. Will definately return.
Booked this as could walk from where we were staying locally. Not necessary as we were the only ones there when we arrived. What to say ? The food is surprisingly good; we had a starter each then a mains each plus rice, a veggy dish & a naan to share. The food is certainly very tasty & is nicely... More
Ordered takeaway delivery. Waited 2 hours for food to arrive, Were promised free drinks when we phoned to find out where our food was. When It did arrive some of the chicken was completely raw and the promised drinks didn't materialise. Would not recommend.
I have had food in Bombay spice, cinnamon spice and 1 or 2 more but in Guildford this is the best Indian restaurant. Not too much of oil, and the taste of the food is really good. waiting time after giving the order is little more comparatively but it is worth it.
Just had our office christmas dinner here .. firstly not very Christmasy, not a cracker - party popper or carol to be seen or heard .. No atmosphere, and very bright .. lights need to be a little dimmer to make it more cosy. Yes the starter took a while to come, but lovely when it arrived as was all... More
I think the title sums this review up. I was told it would be 45 mins, it took 2 hours!!! When it did arrive EVERYTHING was cold. Worst delivery ever! can comment on the food as it was too cold to eat and had just turned to grease.
We haven't eaten in the restaurant but had several deliveries at home and the quality of food is totally yum! Very good quality and not as oily as some Indian food can be. Well worth making an order, and gets delivered within 20mins of calling them! Good prices too!!
Came here with a large group from work for birthday celebrations. Whilst the food was absolutely delicious, the staff obviously struggled to cater for such a large number of people in one go; we waited over an hour for starters after poppadums were finished. That said all the food was lovely in particular the Momo starter - very popular choice... More
Visited with family including a baby and a 4 year old and this presented no problem to the staff! In fact they provided a small table to put the baby in her seat alongside us at the main table. Food excellent including some of the best and freshest tasting popadoms and naan breads we've had. The Gurkha's Revenge was really... More
On the upside, the fact that the place was half-pub, half-restaurant, meant that they had a good selection of beers available. The staff were friendly and well-meaning. Our starters took about half an hour to arrive, and only after we'd brought the delay to the attention of staff, who raced into the kitchen to speed things along. That said, they... More
