Had lunch here on a lovely, warm Saturday lunchtime. We sat outside - nice area; each table had an umbrella and very comfy chairs. We were served straight away and given a menu. Very good menu offers sandwiches or a full meal with starters and deserts. A good variety of food on offer from burgers, steak to goats cheese and... More

There were several positives relating to our midweek visit for a late-ish dinner: the food, wine list & general ambience were excellent - better than expected. As regular frequenters of the commendable and nearby Onslow Arms, we were pleasantly surprised as to how The Queens Head measured up in comparison: there was little with which to find fault, including the... Good range of dishes with 4 specials. Very good service. Very smart with outdoor tables too in a beautiful little village. Was in a party of 4 and we all enjoyed our meals, including very nice desserts. A little on the pricey side but the food was beautifully presented.

I was really impressed with the food and service at this pub. They have the usual gastro pub dishes, but with some lovely unique twists. Although it might be a bit more on the pricey side, you get a lot for your money and for a pub in Surrey Hills, it's actually not too bad. Definitely recommend for occasions or... More

Paid my second visit to the Queens Head in about a year on Fathers Day 2014, a treat from my 8 month old son! Lovely looking traditional pub that is now resembles much more of a restaurant operation. For me this is where the issue lies, it's a pub setting with a pub name and serves a good standard of... More

Been meaning to come here for ages. Did not disappoint. Food very good and reasonably priced. Limited selection of real ales.

This was our fifth visit in the last couple of years. Normally the food is very good and at reasonable prices, in a nice setting. We called in for lunch and ordered a crab roll and a crab ciabatta. Both were very dry (stale ?) and the crab filling was just a smear of brown crab meat, no sign of... More

My wife and I have visited this pub on many occasions and the food is consistently excellent. The sharing plates are plentiful and of the highest quality. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and I would recommend this quality Inn without reservation since in my view it is one of the best in Surrey. The wine list is imaginative and the House wines... We spend two evenings in The Queens head , as we were so excited about the location and the wonderful and careful renovated house. Its recommended to make reservations as this place is always booked - no surprise. The food was excellent and the service friendly, efficient and very accommodating. The food presentation alone is worth going there, as the... More

I hosted a BBQ lunch for 25 friends and family. Due to inclement weather we were inside rather than out . The staff were very friendly and efficient and organised drinks swiftly upon arrival . Food was delicious -- we had chicken , sausages and lovely home made burgers with chips and couple of salads finished off with chocolate brownies... More
