The cream of Guildford pubs. You'll find The Drummond just outside Guildford Cricket Club, but you won't find another like it. There's always something good on, even if it's just in the culinary sense, so park yourself on one of our old-school bar stools and indulge in a plate of superb seasonal pub food, which you can see being freshly prepared in our open kitchen. Plus we've got more wines, spirits and speciality beers than you can shake a wicket keeper at. Put it this way, we know our Pilsner from our Peroni. Thank you to everyone that takes the time to review us! We appreciate all feedback and look forwards to seeing you again soon or meeting you for the first time.

Excellent service and great food.

Called in for something to eat on the way to the theatre so did not have unlimited time. The service was friendly and efficient from the barperson who took our order and Katherine our waitress who was totally on the ball. Having given this pub plenty of prior business through work bookings and visits with friends and family, I was shocked by how rude the staff were during two large bookings recently. Please be aware this was is all feedback I gave directly to the staff at the time of the bookings. They didn't seem fussed at our disappointment. Please know... More

I would have given these guy 4-5 stars had it not been for the wait! First the place was nice and clean and tidy when we walked in and the staff were pleasant enough even thigh it was lunch time (1pm) there were only 5-6 other tables so not rammed by any means. We both ordered Burgers with pulled pork... More

I have been here a few times and it's great for drinks and has a lovely atmosphere. However I have had a few problems on a numbers of of visits. One night they had no vegetarean option. I was told by a member of staff behind the bar that the best thing she could offer was a Caesar salad without... More

If you want a great night out, with a good selection of well kept beers and some very interesting bar snack options, this place has it all. It isn't the cheapest for beer, but the food is well priced and wholesome - not fancy. It is best when very busy and the whole place hums with atmosphere. A bit of... More

It is tradition every year to go to the Drummond for our christmas party. On many previous years the pub has offered a great venue, welcoming, relaxed and friendly place Not this year, many of the party commented on the rudness of the bar staff before and during our meal. You could potentially understand this at this time of year... More

We booked a table for ten last night. We all enjoyed the food, it was tasty and the atmosphere very vibrant. People should not complain afterwards if they are not happy. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

I visited The Drummond with my missus for an afternoon Sunday lunch. There is no dedicated parking, which resulted in a few minutes extra work before out meal - but a local cricket club almost opposite offered a small area for parking. The pub itself looks like a standard traditional country pub. They accept dogs (of which I saw a... More

Last Saturday 22 I spent one of the loveliest birthday evenings in the past few years. I booked to have around 25 people coming. At the end was 20. They were absolutely welcoming and accommodating to everyone getting drinks and food. We did not feel rushed at any point. Everybody felt happy a and had a fantastic time. So Drummond... More

Don't get out in Guildford as much as I'd like as spend a lot of time away but on this rare occasion we were not disappointed. After seeing the cider and tarragon battered fish on the menu I had to try it, and boy was I glad I did. Top marks. Only one small gripe, if anything, was the real... More
