The cream of Guildford pubs. You'll find The Drummond just outside Guildford Cricket Club, but you won't find another like it. There's always something good on, even if it's just in the culinary sense, so park yourself on one of our old-school bar stools and indulge in a plate of superb seasonal pub food, which you can see being freshly prepared in our open kitchen. Plus we've got more wines, spirits and speciality beers than you can shake a wicket keeper at. Put it this way, we know our Pilsner from our Peroni. Thank you to everyone that takes the time to review us! We appreciate all feedback and look forwards to seeing you again soon or meeting you for the first time.

Tasty food to share with friends

We booked a table for ten last night. We all enjoyed the food, it was tasty and the atmosphere very vibrant. People should not complain afterwards if they are not happy. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

I visited The Drummond with my missus for an afternoon Sunday lunch. There is no dedicated parking, which resulted in a few minutes extra work before out meal - but a local cricket club almost opposite offered a small area for parking. The pub itself looks like a standard traditional country pub. They accept dogs (of which I saw a... More

Last Saturday 22 I spent one of the loveliest birthday evenings in the past few years. I booked to have around 25 people coming. At the end was 20. They were absolutely welcoming and accommodating to everyone getting drinks and food. We did not feel rushed at any point. Everybody felt happy a and had a fantastic time. So Drummond... More

Don't get out in Guildford as much as I'd like as spend a lot of time away but on this rare occasion we were not disappointed. After seeing the cider and tarragon battered fish on the menu I had to try it, and boy was I glad I did. Top marks. Only one small gripe, if anything, was the real... More

Upon seeing the reviews this pub has "earned" we rushed down to enjoy a nice well earned Sunday treat (some 30 miles away from where we live!) Unfortunately our high hopes were very much quashed upon receipt of probably one of the worst Sunday Roasts I have encountered. The meat was tasteless and as tough as old boots, the veg... More

Hello, I am incredibly sorry to hear that you have recently had a bad experience at The Drummond. As I am sure you are aware and as you can see by the other reviews this is not at all the usual service that people receive at the Drummond. If you could please take the time to email me at enquiry@thedrummondguildford.co.uk... More

We have visited a few Guildford pubs over the years, and most IMHO dont warrant a 2nd visit. This in our opinion has to be one of the better ones. A nice all round pub that serves nice food at fair prices. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Nice gastro - pub. The food was good - recommend the Pork belly special which was really tasty. Only drawback was somewhat disappointing guest ale. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

This was such a great find. Not being a native of Guildford I was at a loss to find an alternative to the trials of the 'office canteen'. A friend recommended the Drummond as he'd often visited. I'm so glad we did. Although somewhat lacking in curb appeal this is one classy pub. The bar lady who served us was... More

I usually eat here a couple of times a year when in the area and never been disappointed. Nice pub, good atmosphere, good beers and really nice food. The menu appears to change monthly and there is a specials board. Unfortunately I missed out on the pork belly but the hake in cider and tarragon batter was excellent. The staff... More
