The cream of Guildford pubs. You'll find The Drummond just outside Guildford Cricket Club, but you won't find another like it. There's always something good on, even if it's just in the culinary sense, so park yourself on one of our old-school bar stools and indulge in a plate of superb seasonal pub food, which you can see being freshly prepared in our open kitchen. Plus we've got more wines, spirits and speciality beers than you can shake a wicket keeper at. Put it this way, we know our Pilsner from our Peroni. Thank you to everyone that takes the time to review us! We appreciate all feedback and look forwards to seeing you again soon or meeting you for the first time.

Good Food

Visited this pub with my girlfriend for an early dinner and I have to say the Sunday roasts were delightful and very good portion sizes. The pudding and starts were also excellent and the staff very welcoming and friendly.

My friends were told off for ordering gravy with their chicken pie. She said the chicken pie doesn't usually come with gravy. The chicken pietas, however delicious, according to my friends. I ordered the beef short rib, which I usually love. It is s tough cut and needs to be long and slowly cooked to break it down into is... More

This used to be a real favourite but it's changed a lot. Some of the staff are great but some are chilly and untalkative. The food is really disappointing, had the brie board and found it small with limp, wet vegetables and pale toast. The fried chorizo is good. My friends all had burgers and while the sweet potato fries... More

Four of us visited The Drummond for Sunday lunch. It wasn't very busy and was quiet enough for easy conversation. I was a little disappointed that the roast beef was not available rare, but when it arrived it was very good. They serve TEA (Traditional English Ale from the local Hogs Back Brewery) which was well up to standard. Service... More

First of all: Order the slow-cooked short rib... Fantastic!! Staff is friendly, good beers and burguers, nice atmosphere, backyard and tables on the sidewalk too. This is my 2nd time, on weekdays, so I cannot say if it gets at least half full.

Came here for Sunday roast and was disappointed. The Drummond is a nice pub with a good atmosphere but the roast beef was average compared to others in town. Part of this was because there was some herb - tarragon? -in the vegetables which really isn't necessary. Would happily return but not the best to be had

Came here randomly with a friend after looking on Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed. Not only is it beautiful in its outside area the food was sensational. I had pork belly which was very generous and mind blowing and my friend has Sea bass. Staff were great and it was a lovely evening with great food and company.

We always this pub for a few drinks and sometimes something to eat when we visit Guildford for cricket. The pub is just over the road from the ground so its very convenient. They have a good selection of beers at reasonable prices and a fairly extensive food menu. As well as comfortable seating inside they also have a large... More
