Simple, honest food, great find!!

Have been meaning to visit this restaurant for awhile now, so on lunch break pop with a colleague, was greeted by the owner. Who is friendly but not over bearing the service is spot on. Food was simple and flavourism, well presented. Great little restaurant, definitely great value for money. Will... read more

I was recommended here by my barber, and he was not wrong, I passed a pleasant hour and a half waiting for my wife (in the hairdressers). The cost was a fraction of her bill!!! I had coffee and pastries and everything was fascinating as I watched people arriving for lunch. The manager is a superb meeter and greeter and... More

For a while Viva's food declined but the quality, freshness and style are back: Pollo Cacciatore was delicious, fish in generous portions was really fresh; and thank Heaven the coffee is back to the standard of the past - excellent. Chilled beer glasses are a lovely touch and the service is warm and entertaining. If you stopped going to Viva,... More

The welcome as you arrive is warm and the interior itself is nice too. Once seated we were well served all evening. I had a fish pasta dish which was very agreeable. At the end of the meal i was suprised by the good value.

I used to go to eat at Viva years ago until the service declined and the food got worse until now.. I popped in on spur of the moment with my partner last night and was delighted to see the buzzing atmosphere it had when it opened originally.. The staff were enthusiastic and friendly. We ordered a calamari which was... More

Have been meaning to go here for quite a while and was not left disappointed. This restaurant almost looks like a small cafe from the main road but I was surprised to find a large dining area in addition to the intimate area visible through the window... Both of which are beautifully decorated. The waiters were very helpful and exceptionally... More

Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Sadly, the food was tasteless and cheap. Shows in the cheap pricing. Great atmos and staff once again!

We travelled from Birmingham for a family gathering at Viva, and it is becoming a tradition as the experience is consistently excellent. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were attentive and friendly yet not overbearing. The menu is reasonably priced, the food is freshly cooked to a high standard and there is something to suit everyone. The ambience is... More

We visited here with friends a couple of days before my birthday. The traditional Italian food and the warm and attentive service made the overall experience excellent. The cost was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will return,
