Excellent food

I went here with a group of friends, and throughly enjoyed it.I had the ribs for a starter and the pork belly as a main. The food was excellent, would definitely go again

Lovely old English pub. Popped in with a friend at lunchtime. The place was busy. Friendly staff. This place is usually heaving when I drive by on the way home during the summer.

Very flavoursome Goan chicken curry, followed by Thai tea pannacotta. Both very tasty! Service and beer excellent, as always!

A great traditional pub full of charm which serves great food. My boyfriend said he had the best chicken wings he's ever eaten! We were then pleasantly surprised to have turned up to an open mike night. We ended up staying until the pub closed! The local talent was brilliant and the atmosphere was buzzing. Great night out in Woodbridge!

Let me start by saying Let me start by saying what a great pub,and I loved the setup for the restaurant, but OMG they need to get a grip. The service was almost non existent, the food average and the pricing on the high side for such so, so quality. .£19 odd quid for a steak that was badly cooked and tasted like... Entering this little pub it appears to be a traditional drinking pub with people standing at the bar, but venture further and down some steps you will find various rooms for dining, cosy, but a bit dark. We were lucky on a busy bank holiday Saturday to manage to get a table in the main bar which was the best... More

We went here with friends, just had 1 drink, nice atmosphere, very popular and busy pub, food looked nice, nice staff, just 1 point that when it is busy, not much seating area could be a problem in the winter when you can't sit outside, other than that, nice place.

...rather than dark and gloomy in my opinion. Great traditional pub at front with a good range of beers and ciders, with dining areas towards the back. Really nice menu with a small specials board. Service was excellent, nothing too much trouble, even scaling down one of the adult portions of their more elaborate dishes (Tournados of lamb) to accommodate... More

Try to eat in the bar where it's lighter . The bottom part of the pub is rather dark - difficult to see what you are eating. Hare dish was tough and stringy. Still the best skate in town!
