I wish I could eat here every night!

Just fantastic! Ever changing original menu, great level of skill, reasonable prices and a great welcome. A Woodbridge favourite!

Myself and my partner had starters and mains and all 4 meals were great! So tasty - burger was succulent and obv made with top quality beef. Chips were perfect - crisp withfluffy insides and not soaked in oil! Pork belly and chorizo starter was spot on and prawn satay had a lovely crunchy homemade satay, my main of salmon... More

Visited the Anchor on recommendation of the owner of the Granary B&B where we stayed. The pub had a great atmosphere with really good honest food and friendly service. The quality and taste of the food was spot on and the local beer excellent.

The Anchor is subtly accommodating without the corporate pretensions that make so many pubs tediously boring. This pub is a jewel. The staff are charming. Keep it as it is.

We chose to have our annual family pre Christmas meal here a couple of Thuesdays before Christmas. We were looked after extremely well and will go... More

We've been to Woodbridge often but, until this week, have never tried eating at The Anchor. What an mistake that has been, one we'll not make again, for the food the atmosphere and the service are all great. The menu is short - about a half dozen starters, mains and desserts - but really well chosen. We arrived for lunch... More
