The food was like good old fashioned... More

What a find, availed ourselves twice whilst staying at a local Bed and Breakfast. First occasion in the restaurant, second in the bar. The food was epic with an abundance of varied vegetables. I cannot rate this venue more highly, the meals were complemented by friendly and attentive staff.

We and members of our family have visited the restaurant numerous times over the past few years and on every visit the food and service have always been excellent. You will not leave this restaurant hungry as the portions are very generous with a large variety of vegetables. I would recommend that locals and visitors visit this restaurant but you... More

On a Sunday afternoon drive between Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds via Newmarket we found this awesome old place. We didnt eat here - only ever planned to stop for a drink - thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the conversation with the very friendly and helpful management.

Go 3 or 4 times a year, sometimes with friends or family. Always great, superb food. Parents wont visit me unless it means a meal here!
