It's a Pizza Express

It's easy to find, right in the middle of the High Street. The food is fine but generally we have found Pizza Express to be a bit pricey based on the portion sizes and quality of food served. It's always quite busy but we live just a few minutes walk away and never bother to go here to eat... read more

The evening was going okay until we'd finished our mains when the manageress cleared the table. She did not interact with our son and even more didn't even offer us any desert. She was unwelcoming, cold and generally didn't want us there. The young man that had served us was outstanding, the complete opposite. Shame she ruined it.

We had a fantastic family dinner - the pizza was great, and the service was outstanding. The staff could not have been nicer, and they took wonderful care of our school-age children, who had activities with which to keep busy and great kid-sized meals. Would highly recommend -

Three courses for £13.75 seemed like a deal so we went out. It was really lovely inside and the waitress couldn't have been more helpful. The pesto chicken was delicious and the mozzarella garlic bread too was great. I don't like all the locations of this restaurant but this one is especially cosy and there's easy parking outside which is... More

Had a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner here last night. Myself, 2 other adults and my 5 year old all wonderful meals. The atmosphere was lovely. The food (starters, mains and desserts) were absolutely delicious, we couldn't fault them at all. There were 4 very clear plates. We didn't have to wait long either. The staff were extremely friendly and... More

Our family often eat out here as they cater well for our gluten free diets and provide a good customer service. But on a previous visit, we made the mistake of being sat next to a large party of noisy 5 year olds. Although this wasn't the restaurants fault, just be sure to check how busy/full it is before entering.... More

Food was pretty good, though dough ball appetizers were a bit overcooked. Wine was good. Very loud inside, so hard to have a conversation.

Can't fault the food, decent quality and in good time. However we were sat next a noisey couple who were swearing and puffing their E-cig vapor all over us whilst we were eating our dinner, the waitress attending to them several times without saying a word. Bit of respect from both partys wouldn't have gone a miss.

I'm giving this 5* for value because the situation was so poor that our meal was free. We (four adults and one child) informed the manager that we were in a hurry when entering and were not warned of any issues. 35 minutes after waiting for our pizzas we asked when we might expect the food and were told they...
