Another brilliant experience at Tuddenham. The lunch menu is unbelievable value, 3 courses with canapés and bread. Each dish was tasty and interesting. Service was good and the setting perfect. I've been so many times and will be going so many more!

It is very difficult to find a restaurant that offers true value for money, theres the overpriced dross you get in the majority of pubs trying to be fine dining establishments and then theres the over hyped 'bistro's' - both of whom charge a fortune and do not represent value for money. You can travel far and wide and pay... More

This was our third trip to the mill, with an overnight stay. The grazing board lunch was fine with some amuse bouche of pork terrine squares & mustard, served hot. I had ordered some demi sec champagne over the phone prior to arrival, and was a little shocked to see that a corkage charge of £70 was added to the... More

A quick summary - 1. Still nicely presented downstairs and up. 2. Friendly and helpful staff 3. Exceptional food - the lamb was the best I have ever had 4. Set menu very good value for money. 5. Complaints? Bottled beer quite pricey @ £4.95/each 6. Overall - very memorably and would certainly return.

The restaurant is in a lovely old water mill with beams and a view overlooking the mill pond. Service was reasonable, one waitress in particular was helpful and friendly. The bread was delicious, as were the starter and desserts, absolutely no fault with those at all. The main course however, was not hot enough, the meat was tender, but not... More

Our second visit to Tuddenham Mill and this time we took my parents. We didn't manage to get a table until 2.15, but this wasn't a problem. We arrived in good time and had a wander outside before heading to the bar for a drink. The bar itself is fascinating with the old mill wheel on display. Soon enough we... More

I work in the hospitality industry and usually leave TA well alone as far my reviews are concerned. But not this one. I can honestly say these were some of the best plates of food I have ever eaten. The skill and attention put into the dishes make for a real joy. Bread and butter- excellent (so many places get... More

Four lunches four different experiences with some common themes, means that despite good first impressions we will not be returning. Common to each was very haphazard and slow service (even if the restaurant was quiet) with seemingly little organisation among so many staff. Service was painfully slow on one occassion with a 30 minute wait between courses and and a... More

First impressions of the Tuddenham Mill were very good. The building and grounds from the out side, look fantastic, having been lovingly restored and well maintained. The inside follows the same path, with lovely features, like the old milling wheel and shaft being made into part of the décor. We visited as a group of four and were soon seated... More
