At last the Cock has reopened, Great meal and very friendly people running it.A great addition to Lavenham for a ordinary meal.

Opposite the marvellous church at Lavenham. Did not eat, but will be returning to do so in conjunction with the railway walk. Dog friendly, dart board, good food and excellent wine for a pub. Same couple as Number 10, so the pedigree is there. All bases covered!

Visited the Cock Horse newly open for Lunch today and recieved very friendly greeting. Service pleasant and prompt. Food excellent. Having been Lavenham residents up to a few months ago we thought we would try it out. With a large eating area and a separate bar, I think they will achieve what Lavenham lacks, mainly somewhere where you can go... More

Called in to say hello to newly done up, newly thatched Pub and given a great welcome and also sample menu, which looks great. V friendly. Only opened on Sunday, 1st November, but a lot of people sampling it and looking very happy. We wish it well and look forward to eating there soon.

Closed but the parking is open at the rear. TO LET sign and tables and chairs removed outside. A very traditional style pub with a main bar, restaurant. Eating and drinking inside and out. Would be good to see this pub reopened again soon. Good location.

The Cock in is being RE Thatched which will look lovely when finished. We were a bit baffled to see a sign outside saying in big letters TO LET.Perhaps they are looking for someone to run it.Went last year but everything looked so drab inside,so they must be giving it a faceover inside and out.

Not as good as it once was, but an average meal in average settings for the average family. It's neither one thing or another, and rather forgettable. Nevertheless, nor is it offensive in anyway

We drove 100 miles to The Cock Inn at Lavenham on Monday 3rd February to meet with family for a nice lunch - only to find it closed (since 19 January) for refurbishment! We had visited this pub a few times before and were always very happy with it - that is why we chose the Cock Inn yesterday. We... More

great they accepted dogs but it was a bit drab. The seat covers by the window needed urgent cleaning. Food was very slow to appear and then was just ok. There was just one other person in our bar and we were there quite a while. Had a game of darts, read the paper, watched the news and it was... More

Called in on a late Sunday afternoon. Total number of customers including me was three. Large TV showing BBC news, which didn't lift the atmosphere. Had two pints of Foster's (£3:35 pint) and left. Large pub that needs a refurbishment just like the Greyhound down the road.
