We visit RRG on a Sinday morning. The person at the counter was rude and clearly annoyed that I had not read that they do not service breakfast on weekends. Why do they not serve breakfast on weekend? The cappuccinos were not real cappuccinos. Just milky weak coffee with a bit of foam on top. The bacon sandwiches were nice.... More

We had one of the best lattes here, not too milky but very rich and tasty. So our experience was fine but the couple at the next table were not so happy and complained that their tea was too strong. We can only take it as we found it and it was good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere... More

Good for a nice lunch in Bury. Situated near the Abbey Gardens and Cathedral. Good value for money but service a bit slow.

We sat outside this café on the most beautifully sunny day and had the best Espresso and Macchiato we've had for ages. Also the Brownie we shared was delicious.

Having moved to Bury St Edmunds a couple of years ago, we were delighted to have found such a great little coffee shop - lovely view and great coffee and cake. We visited a couple of months back and couldn't put a finger on what, but something was less good. Then a few weeks ago we returned and were less... More

Great location right on Angel Hill so you can people watch if you pop in on your own. There's good coffee and interesting tea selections, nice cakes and snacks. The decor is very pleasant, pine tables and check cloths and a non-chain feel. I usually come during the week as it's always packed on Saturdays. That's most likely because it's... More

Only popped in for an espresso and a 'bun'. The coffee was very good - a glass of water came automatically without asking - and the 'bun' was lovely. Overall, one of the nicest places to have coffee in Bury and very good service.

Been coming since the coffee shop opened. Staff bubbly and helpful as always. But what has happened to my favorite place? Menu obviously too big to cope with which reflects on service meaning long waiting times... has there been a change in management? SHAME. Atmosphere not the same, it was lovely how it was!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and was really impressed - we'll definitely be going again! The service was quick and the staff very helpful; The cake was absolutely delicious - probably the best guinness cake I've ever had. The ginger hot chocolate is definitely something to be repeated! Not the cheapest place but definitely worth what you pay. New favourite... More

We have visiting this cafe since it opened and it is not as good as it used to be. For example 1. Staff greeting is patronising and too loud; 2. Took 15 - 20 to service two coffees and only after we complained & it wasn't that busy. 3. Waiter clearing. Tables used a large plastic bps to collect used... More
