I'm so glad we waited for a seat - the best latte I've had in a while. Would probably return to bury st edmunds just for another cup. I'd also recommend the goats cheese and onion chutney sandwiches.

First time visit to Bury st edmunds . This cafe is located in a good location not far from the abbey gardens. The americano coffee was very nice and so was a sip of my boyfriends beer.

This establishment has quickly become my favourite place in Bury St Edmunds to have lunch. Excellent food, very nicely presented along with superb coffee, what more could you ask? Oh yes how about friendly staff and pleasant surroundings? RRG has all of these. Much better than all the chain restaurants in the town, this is well worth a visit.

I recently had a breakfast meeting at Really Rather Good, sitting outside in the sunshine overlooking Angel Hill, enjoying a really tasty coffee and delicious eggs and bacon.

Every morning that I don't have to be in to work at the normal time, I come here for a coffee. I brought my in-laws here, and they went back every day of their stay! My sister said it was the best latte she had ever had (and she's had a few...). The view of the Abbey Gate and Cathedral... More

Thank you for your kind comments. We do try hard to produce good quality products. The view, as you say, is great. I hope we will see you again in the future, perhaps July 4th!! More

Avoid the numerous national chains in Bury St Edmunds and head to RRG for a really very good coffee. Wonderful bakewell tart too...

We live in Australia and both Australia and NZ have wonderful coffee with expert baristas. We also had a house in Italy for ten years and of course the coffee is wonderful there too. We despair usually of finding decent coffee in England but we noticed this new addition to Bury since we were last here and also the Trip... More

Our son has an Australian girlfriend, so we have learnt that coffee is taken very seriously in Australia/NZ (we even keep some honey as we have Australian customers who like it with their tea). I must admit Flat Whites are my favourite and are generally a good indication of the quality of the coffee bean. The food is all freshly... More

Thank you for your comments. We have recently started breakfasts and are glad you enjoyed you visit to us for breakfast. The hollandaise is made fresh daily (no jars here) and we are glad you found it tasty. You are correct, the windows and view are great for people watching or just seeing the world drift by. More

Great little stop for tea and homemade scones. Has a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the entrance to Abbey Gardens. Nice, friendly staff too!

Thank you for your comment. The scones are very popular. Annette makes them daily (getting up as the sun rises - sometimes before). Hope to see you again and maybe entice you to try some cake (again all homemade). More
