Always the best pizzas in town

I haven't been to this place for a while but decided to go because I heard they'd changed their menu a bit and moved the furniture around. They still do the best pizzas around and coleslaw is really yummy. I always like the fact that they serve good wine in large glasses and love the ambience. This... read more

I visited here with friends on a Friday night. The place was very stuffy and the smell hit us as we walked in. It took a little while to get our drinks. The floor was sticky and covered in popcorn. The tables all had lots of drinks on them, despite many of them not having anyone sitting at them. The... More

Fantastic home made pizzas, friendly bar staff and waiting staff, and a good pint of beer. What more could you ask for?!

Four of us on a Friday evening found the LP deservedly thriving. Although busy, the staff were unfailingly attentive, and the mixed crowd generated a vibrant atmosphere. The food arrived swiftly and accurately and was a delight. The pulled pork bonbons came with a dip which had just the right amount of ginger zinginess. Pizzas had a touch of delicious... More

Christmas lunch with colleages, cannot fault the food which was hot, tasty and every one enjoyed it. Possibly the best Christmas lunch for many years. Service was attentive but they deserve more customers, not just for pizza.

Excellent time had by all. The food was delicious and served nice and hot. A good christmas menu to choose from and very good value for money. Gina who organised it for us was very friendly and professional and accommodating and the service on the night was great, nothing was too much trouble. Relaxed and informal but high standards, would... More

The L P restaurant is about a 2 minute walk from the centre of Bury St. Edmunds. We had very good pizzas here. Even though it was very busy due to the Christmas Market, they were prepared to make slight alterations to the toppings that we required.

We just love The LP! We are complete foodies and eat out regularly. How lovely to have an independent establishment that we can support in town as theses are becoming scarce! The food is freshly cooked and created, the menu has something for everyone, including lots of vegetarian options and the flexibility to tweak dishes for allergies and or childhood... More

LP have their Mexican Night on the first Thursday of every month. Been wanting to go for ages and finally went last week. Food was fantastic. Very authentic and so much better than some chain Mexican restaurants. Waiting and bar staff all very friendly and attentive. Have never had a bad meal at The LP. Looking forward to the next...
