Excellent value and a unique experience

Popped out for a spontaneous meal in the early evening. Was fairly quiet and service was very prompt to begin with. When we said we weren't ready to order drinks yet we were bought a jug of tap water which was a nice touch. Through the course of the night we had a starter (doughballs), two mains... read more

Super cool bar with great vibes and an awesome restaurant. All the food is cooked in an authentic wood fired oven (not their yummy pizzas!) I ordered the pulled pork burger with home made coleslaw and potato salad. All = excellent! Served quickly and with a smile. Would recommend over and over again. If you're local and you don't drop... We often go here as we can get great food, generous portions, freshly made and gluten free available without fuss!

Very pleased with the service and the food I received for my 21st birthday event held at The LP! Tasty food on a mass scale and wonderful service and atmosphere throughout. Been lots of times before but exceeded my expectations for my special event.

Slightly better than average but not excellent. We had tasty pizzas from the wood oven,we asked for them to be crisp, which they were. The service was friendly the house wine was pleasant enough and it seemed very popular. My only issue (which reflects my age probably)is that there were speakers everywhere so you could not find a quiet table. There was also... More

I went in with a friend for drinks yesterday but I won't be making that mistake again. A G&T and a beer somehow came to £17, and when asked to check how that could be right the girl behind the bar just shrugged and pointed to the till. Avoid this place at all costs, either they're theives or they're painfully... More

Hi, I am sorry that you had such a negative experience at The LP. We don't set out to upset our customers in this way. If you have a pint of premium beer, such as Leffe and another premium double from our large range of spirits then this may well be expensive but we provide those offerings for our more... More

We visited early evening, when there were plenty of staff and few customers. Initial impressions - it looks good inside, staff were friendly and the music was great! We were dealt with promptly and politely. I expect to wait for freshly cooked food, and this was well worth the surprisingly long wait. However, once we had finished our main course... More

Pretty average Mexican food. Limited menu Had steak burrito. £13 for a burrito. With a little melted cheese sitting in a small pool of tomato sauce. The steak was well seasoned although a bit chewy. No salad or sides otherwise. Pricey I think just for what was essentially a hot wrap. Fajitas looked a more substantial feed and cheaper (if... More

Sorry that you were disappointed with your meal. You've got a valid point, and we've upped our game recently with additional sides for other dishes but we forgot to include these on our burrito plate. The ingredients are prime steak and with VAT unfortunately we can't offer this for any less to the customer but we will enhance the food... More

Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere. I've want to eat here for a while and after not being able to get into two other places to eat The LP had a table for the 4 of us. My partner and son had pizzas which were amazing both boys were extremely impressed. I had a pasta dish which although was a little... More
