After having really good wood fired pizzas last year, to getting the starter turn up with the main course and then they sent out the advertised special of king prawn and chirzo with salami instead of chirzo. In fairness the dish had very big prawns and lots of them and they gave us free drinks as an apology.

My husband and I visited on a busy lunchtime and enjoyed an Elvis pizza with jalapeno between us and roasted vegetables. The food was piping hot and obviously freshly made. The pizzas are my favourite because they are not only tasty but thin and crispy. The wine was a lovely rioja in big glasses and came promptly after ordering. Although... More

When you see pizza oven a little wait is to be expected but the staff was organized and attentive. All our dishes were very good and reasonably priced. Very pleasant lunch stop.

Came to a Christmas dinner today costing £28 per head. Arrival drinks of bucks fizz or rather orange juice did not arrive when we did but rather half an hour after. Then onto the meal. The starters arrived promptly as they were cold so easy to prep (very little to mess up) then the mains arrived, well at least some... More

Hi, Thanks for your review and merry Christmas! I'm naturally concerned by your review and I can offer sincere apologies that you didn't enjoy your experience, larger groups for Christmas bookings would have been informed that the service of main meals would be slightly staggered due to sheer demand. If your food was cold on delivery we would/should have definitely... More

We were in Bury visiting our daughter and we stopped here for pizza. Their wood fired pizzas were awesome! Had some mulled wine for the first time too. I really enjoyed it.

Staff so laid back almost horizontal, if they went any slower they would go backwards. Food ordered very simple. Waited patiently. Despite being told we were on a lunch break the service was painfully slow. When food finally arrived It was at staggered intervals - paninis. Waited 45 minutes from ordering to the first plate arriving. Only two other tables... More

Hi, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry you had a negative experience with your wait for food. Everything is freshly made and prepared and customers are encouraged to phone and order ahead if they are on a tight schedule. Most food items take between 10 and 30 minutes during a standard service and there is an indication on our menu... More

Great service, good menu and lively atmosphere. We had olives to start and then the meat balls with spaghetti and a pizza (they have a proper wood burner oven) then brownies and ice cream and Belgium waffle with ice cream. It was all delicious and well presented. Excellent value for money so including 3 large glasses of merlot it was... More

I had friends visiting me for the weekend and we were very excited for The LP cocktail happy hour. We arrived in a cheery mood excited for the evening. When ordering our drinks my friend tried to engage the bar man in conversation, she's naturally very chatty and friendly. She asked him if they play music in there as the... More

Hi, Thanks for your review. I can only apologise for the way you were spoken to, if the complaint was made at the time to the management it could have been dealt with. Our staff generally have a great relationship with customers and we get huge amounts of repeat business for both our food and drinks as a result. I... More

We frequent LP... Probably my favorite place to eat in Bury! The drinks are good too! Try the Elvis Presley with jalapeno!
