I've been to this particular chain for Carluccio's a couple of times, once for lunch and once for an evening meal. We've found that the service can be a little bit slow to begin with, even sometimes when it's not very busy however they are always friendly. When seated at an awkwardly placed table we asked to move, and they... More

I went with my wife. The restaurant is nice but has cheap tables. The service was good and the food ok (if a bit odd). I think the prices are high for what it is (my fish stew was very small for £14). The odd bit came from the starters. I had a massive piece of focaccia with oil and... More

Enjoying a brief leisure break in the Bury St Edmunds area, we decided to explore the this lovely town during the day, and rather taken by the Arc area, decided to return to eat there during the evening. Carluccio's provided us with the sort of relaxing environment we enjoy and a menu that was just a little different to those... More

Wow, great menu choice, great service, and meal we ordered was absolutely delicious. Risotto was just perfect and the lobster spaghetti was fabulous. We didnt get the try the deserts as we were too full.

Centrally located this place is ideal for taking a break during shopping. In the summer there are nice outdoor tables and inside is a nice warm atmosphere with lovely food and good service.

I took my Mum here for a belated birthday lunch last weekend. Sometimes i find Carluccio's to be a bit hit and miss but luckily this visit was great. We both had the spinach balls with giant penne for our main which was utterly delicious and cooked beautifully followed by carrot cake and raspberry chocolate cupcake for dessert. The carrot... We went for lunch just wanted light bite really, took for ever to seat us at a table when clearly nearly all tables were free, once seated we were forgotten other tables all attended to and we had to ask for a waitress to take our order to which we then had to wait yet again while they decided whose...
