First visit to Bury St Edmunds and headed off main streets which had plenty of choices for lunch and into a side street to discover Baileys 2.........what a find! Very welcoming and pleasant staff. What a choice of sandwiches and cakes, talk about spoilt for choice! Both enjoyed our choices.......delicious. Sadly no room for FAB looking puddings or cakes, definitely... More

I've had lunch here twice now, & all I can say is it's the best place in Bury to get a sandwich. The bread is fresh, moist & succulent. The ingredients the same. 1st time there I had the BLT & the bacon was crispy & warm. Seriously good. 2nd time I had the chicken, brief & cranberry. Outstanding sandwich.... More

Came here for lunch.... The crab and advocado sandwich was lovely and fresh, and the service was very friendly.

Old fashioned and good. A nice place to go for a substantial lunch/snack. Good value for money. Can be a little warm when the summer temperatures soar!

Stopped off here based on other Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. We both had sandwiches and smoothies for a quick bite before getting back on the road. Bread was lovely and soft and fillings generous and very tasty (salmon and avocado with lemon and black pepper mayo highly recommended). Smoothies freshly made and again very tasty. Friendly and... We arrived just five minutes after the opening time of 9am and I expected us to be the only people in the cafe but as we walked through the door to the welcoming interior, a smiling waitress passed us carrying a tray of coffee and tea cakes to customers already seated. Clearly, I thought, this must be a popular little... More

I ate here last weekend for lunch with my husband, two boys (4 and 1), and my parents. I love the atmosphere and decor (especially the bunting and the framed pictures of Bury St Edmunds)! They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, toasties, desserts, and daily specials. I had the roast beef, horseradish, and brie sandwich...fabulous! The service was good... More

Dropped in here for a light lunch on Saturday, great service and 2 lovely sandwiches and a salad. Its a shame that they are closing for a couple of weeks for their holiday. Great choice on the menu and the cakes looked amazing. Plus i did not realise that they do takeaway, one for the future i think

The food at Baileys2 is Amazing and the vanilla milkshake with cream is the best I have ever had. You must try for yourself. The staff are fantastic and the owners are brilliant :) I would recommend the food and experience 100 %
