We arrived just five minutes after the opening time of 9am and I expected us to be the only people in the cafe but as we walked through the door to the welcoming interior, a smiling waitress passed us carrying a tray of coffee and tea cakes to customers already seated. Clearly, I thought, this must be a popular little... More

The food and the service and the staff were wonderful! Plenty to choose from, I wish I could have had room for more! The cakes are very good!

I ate here last weekend for lunch with my husband, two boys (4 and 1), and my parents. I love the atmosphere and decor (especially the bunting and the framed pictures of Bury St Edmunds)! They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, toasties, desserts, and daily specials. I had the roast beef, horseradish, and brie sandwich...fabulous! The service was good... More

Dropped in here for a light lunch on Saturday, great service and 2 lovely sandwiches and a salad. Its a shame that they are closing for a couple of weeks for their holiday. Great choice on the menu and the cakes looked amazing. Plus i did not realise that they do takeaway, one for the future i think

I visit this tearooms a lot and the staff are always lovely. The menu is very diverse with delicious food and the specials board is delightful! They have a gluten free range too so there is something for everyone. The deserts/cakes are amazing, I would recommend the sticky toffee pudding, it's to die for !

This modest cafe on a side street near the town centre advertises that it has a gluten free menu so I went to try it out. I was not disappointed. For lunch I had a cheese, walnut and apple open sandwich on lightly toasted gluten free bread which was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I will certainly go back!

Very much a family favourite, with a fantastic selection of sandwiches, toasties and warm options to suit the weekday/weekend lunchtime diner. Prices reflect the quality and amount of food that you get. There is always a warm welcome and staff work hard to make sure that everyone is catered for in a busy environment. Their brunch menu is also yummy!

Lou and Dean the owners are great people, they have the most attentive staff, and as for the food and cakes, to die for. You just must try it for yourselves.
