We knowthat not everyone wants the same thing from a pub. You might want a pint of local real ale at the bar ... A bottle of wine and a grazing board on the sofas ... A meal in the dining room ... A really good coffee and a read of the paper ... Take your pick. If real ale is your thing, look no further. We offer our own Brewshed Best Bitter and Pale Ale plus a couple of guest ales. We're passionate about wine and have created an award winning list Which offers a selection of old favorites combined with some more unusual and quirky wines. The common theme is did we believe They Are all well made wines offering good value for money. Every single one of our wines are available by the glass (except some champagnes). On the food side, the emphasis is on good quality, seasonal produce and, wherever Possible, we source it locally. We love Sunday lunch and offer a great roast - bring the family or meet up with friends and catch up on your way. We're open from noon until late. So if you're in need of a locally roasted coffee in the afternoon, you know where to come. Free wi-fi is available Throughout the pub. What about the kids? Children are welcome in the bar before 6pm and 8pm in the restaurant but evenings are just for the grown ups. Our kids menu is Important to us. It is Aimed at children under 8 and each dish is freshly prepared. You can therefore order a roast pork or beef kids on Sundays. Where Possible, we are very happy to prepare smaller Portions from our main menu. Baby changing facilities, high chairs, activity sheets and crayons are available.

Nice food!

I booked this for my father's 75th birthday, the staff are very courteous and the service was prompt and unintrusive. My fish and chips looked small when it arrived but was just about right. The batter was crispy and dry and the chips weren't greasy. My father had a generous serving of ham, egg and... read more

My wife & I were returning from Cambridge & decided to have dinner en-route home at The One Bull. We thought that on a Thursday night there would be plenty of tables available - mistake!! There was a lovely buzz about the place. Lots of people drinking at the bar & sat with friends in the comfy leather settees &... More

The team at The One Bull put great effort into making sure you have a great meal. The food is very good, and good value. Nice atmosphere for a meal, a quick drink or a night out - one of the best independent restaurants in Bury.

All party of 5 had a lovely meal, hake main course was stunning. Good starters. Really like the well constructed wine list. All wines available by the glass and the tasting flight is a good idea. Good atmosphere with varied seating. They honoured our request for a round table. A return visit very likely! Will be back soon.

Just enjoyed a lovely couple of hours sat with friends while enjoying wonderful food. I highly recommend the Hake fillet, it was a delicious light meal but satisfyingly filling. The raspberry and pistachio frangipani was to die for. Our friends chose the vegetarian Gnoochi which they said was wonderful. The cheese board option was either a choice of 3 or... More

We popped in for a light lunch following a friend's recommendation and we were equally pleased. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food and wine was very good. We will return for a longer stay another time.
