This was our third visit to Aldeburgh in the last five years and we always make a point of buying our lunch from here. The fish and chips are well cooked, fresh, and the batter on the fish is excellent. We will be back again, maybe next year and again this will be on the visiting agenda.

The queue starts at 4pm for the most wonderful haddock and chips(there are the usual chip shop goodies as well) but we share the haddock as a snack before dining later in the hotel

We stopped in for Fish & Chips on our first night in Aldeburgh and I wasn't disappointed. Great prices for a huge portion. Sadly my fish was full of bones....next time I will have the scampi!

The queue outside is testamony to how good this place is. We have been here twice now and not been disappointed. Definitely worth a visit if you are within the area ( and I mean about 20 mileradius!!!!)

I do like eating here and it's great to take away and eat on the beach. But don't go for the small fish if you have a healthy appetite. Worth a look

The constant mile long queue outside this F&C shop testify to its quality! Only downside is restricted frying times and aforesaid queue.

Have been to this fish & chip shop when visiting Aldeburgh for many years. Today we were disappointed as it was not as good as we have had in the past. It was lovely and hot but although not a lot of oil on the paper tasted very greasy and still tasting this fatty taste 5 hours later. The fish... More

Absolutely first class fish and chips, washed down with a pint from the White Hart pub next door. So unusual to see a pub sign that actually welcomes you to eat fish and chips from the shop next door in their beer garden as long as you buy a drink from the bar! We look forward to our next visit... More
