don't worry about the queue - it WILL be worth it

THE best fish & chips in England. Bar none. Everyone knows fish n chips taste better at the seaside. Best eaten on the sea wall…washed down with a can of coke. Perfect!

Enjoyed fish and chips sitting on the sea wall with my fiancé, I've had two takeaways from here now and both times it has been lovely and not too greasy.

Good fish and chips. Not too greasy. Must be good to have that many people queuing out of the door! Will return for more in the future.

Everybody has raved about this place, so when we moved to Suffolk we headed straight here for lunch for my husbands birthday. I ordered a medium cod and chips and was handed the open bag with fat running down the sides....it hardened like lard. We ate in the garden of the pub next door. I had a lot of bones... More

Everyone visiting Aldeburgh has to queue for twenty minutes to buy the most appetising Fish & Chips tp take away and eat sitting on the sea wall. Queuing over the years must add up to a considerable amount of ones time, but no one seems to mind. We do it regularly.

After reading excellent reviews about Aldeburgh Fish & chip shop, I was very much looking forwards to my fish & chips upon my first ever Suffolk Coast, Aldeburgh visit. I've tried many fish & chips, good and bad, from up and down the coast line of Britain. However, these were very average - frozen fish cooked with skin on, very... More

Everyone raves about Aldeburgh Fish and Chips. For me personally, they are nothing to rave about. Can get nicer ones elsewhere. Not sure what the big fuss it about!

Tasty, yummy fish and chips. Three fish and chip shops opening through the day and evening can be eaten along the front dodging the gulls or in one of the restaurants above the shop.
