Probably the best chip shop chips I have had. Service was a bit moody and I would of liked some ketchup bottles on the side rather than a tiny sachet. Lovely to get some chips though and walk along the front

Good traditional fish and chips, locally caught, quick turnaround, not greasy and very pleasant atmosphere if you sit upstairs

Cosy little cafe upstairs from the the shop. You might have to queue to get in but its worth the wait. Trad. fish 'n ' chips, yum! And friendly service. Our fish being only slightly overdone was the single complaint.

Always love the fish and chip shops in Aldburgh, the queues speak for themselves, very popular, one place you can eat out of the paper, most people sit on the benches or failing that the wall along the promenade. Just watch out for the sea-gulls though! and remember feeding them is not allowed! or you may get a hefty fine!... More

Used to be our and several hundred other people's last port of call before heading home ,to stand in line for 45 mins for the best fish and chips and sit on the beach watching the sunset . Then we saw a delivery one day of frozen fish and the batter became greasy . And then we discovered that not... More

Having driven 63 miles and queued for 30 minutes to get some of our favourite fish and chips at Aldeburgh which we have done several times, we were really disappointed by the quality for the first time ever. The fried fish waiting in the heated cabinets was lying on a bed of fried bits and pieces of greasy scraps and... More

Who makes the best fish and chips in the world? To answer that question you will HAVE to eat fish and chips, fresh in paper, from Aldeburgh Fish and Chips, because here is a world beater, in this deceptively simple Great British dish. There isn't really a lot more to be said, except you may have to queue along the... More

Posh fish n chips. I think this is perhaps the best fish and chips in the world. Simple proposition really. Friendly staff, fresh fish, chips just right, then a quick stroll down the beach eating them. It doesn't get better than this

Superb chish n fips!! Didn't disappoint. Buzzing, busy, delicious! Living overseas we miss this dish like a good curry or a bacon sandwich, and it really gave us a great taste of home
