Very good fish and chips; excellent price and fried as we ordered. We ate by the sea and had a great meal; will have it again!

You will have to queue up for at least 15 mins, but the fish is fantastic and the portion of chips enough to share. Once you have your food, you can go to the pub opposite, buy a drink and sit down - great on a summer's evening

I had a fantastic haddock and chips with scraps. Fish was beautifully battered and moist inside, chips good - all fried in beef dripping. One of the best. Kids had sausage and chips. Meal for five at £22 including drinks.

Long queue but well worth the wait. Beautifully cooked fresh cod and chips. Very efficient and friendly service.

Waited for half an hour for a table in this restaurant and although the fish was tasty, there were a lot of bones in it which made it quite difficult for children to eat. I had high hopes for this restaurant in a beautiful seaside town but unfortunately I wasn't impressed.

Sitting in the car over looking the sea while eating the famous Aldeburgh Fish and Chips is the perfect end to a great day in our favourite East England seaside resort. Good fish, chips cooked in beef dripping (?) eaten in the sea air, is hard to beat, even harder if the food is from Aldeburgh Fish and Chips

After queuing for nearly an hour the service was poor and the quantity terrible. This was our 3rd visit and each visit the portion sizes have got smaller. Quite rude staff when spoken to.

After 5 days of seeing queues at the chip shop, we decided to give it a go. Thankfully, we didn't wait too long to be served & rushed off to our rented holiday home to savour the famous fayre. What did the somewhat small bags contain? The "extra large" fish was not extra large, & the chips were white. Not... More
