This was my 2nd visit to Delphine's this year. On this occasion I had a takeaway meal of cheeseburger, chips & coleslaw at a cost of £9.15. The burger was very disappointing, very bland and not what I was hoping for. Staff very pleasant but burgers need improving, they need to be juicy and textured. These are available at local... More

Great place as Delphines! My partner and I and our three year old went in - food was great even the kids burger was hand made and juicy as described! She even got a little bottle of milk when thereare other places to go in Adleburgh ignore them and go here! Matt had plain Jane no salad or gunk I... More

We, family of five, had burgers, four cocktails, shakes and three desserts at £94. Food was OK, cocktails OK too and the desserts were very good indeed. They could work harder at making the burgers a bit more beefy since they are yards away from a fine butcher. Great decor and service. Kids enjoyed the experience.

Delphine's is a fantastic little 50's diner with lovely staff and a great experience. Food not bad but the experience is definitely better than the food. Great burgers and hot dog menu but they lack in taste a little (hot dogs particularly cheap tasting). Milk shakes great. Fries - a bit floppy. Would definitely go back for a different dining... More

We ate at Delphine's diner during the Aldeburgh Carnival this year. The food was freshly cooked, beautifully presented and was delicious. The shakes and cocktails were first class. The staff were very friendly and let us stay in the diner whilst the carnival was on, even though they closed it so they could watch the carnival with their children. The... More

I went to Delphine's during the Aldeburgh Carnival. I was stood at The Lighthouse restaurant across the road with my friends and family, to watch the parade. The Lighthouse was serving free burgers, but since I don't eat meat I thought I would try Delphine's. I ordered the 'Squeak it Up' burger and was told it would take 15 minutes.... More

Delphine's Diner has great decor, music and atmosphere, but unfortunately that's it. The chips were anaemic and soggy, and very clearly undercooked. Tom Collins was served long and bland with a whole glass of soda water. Was planning to visit for burgers later in the week, but will give it a miss. It's a shame that the effort with the... More

We were lucky to stay in Aldeburgh during the recent hot spell. We visited Delphine's for milkshakes (and a sneaky sundae) to cool down. Really good shakes, gorgeous sundae. Nice to see vegetarian options on the food menu even if we weren't there for a meal. Service was charming, quick and efficient. Waitress made a fuss of our dog, which... More

Visited 29/07 as party of four. Late morning and only wanted milkshake which I sense made the well dressed up waitress a little annoyed as the place is not that big and clearly she wished to maximise income though to be fair all people in the place were only drinking. Ordered three milkshakes and a "float" and these came after... More
