Lazy Sunday breakfast

Walked to Delphine's from local caravan park when staying with parents recently. An over the top American style diner, which suits it perfectly. A v.good breakfast with coffee for a reasonable price, scrambled eggs were superb

Came across Delphine's Diner whilst out for a stoll in Aldeburgh. I have to say it was a great find. An authentic 1940/50's diner with music to match. Friendly staff and great food cooked to order at great prices. They do a great variety of shakes as well and although we didn't have one the 3 teenagers at the next... More

A beautiful diner. Looks authentic - 1940/50s style with great attention to detail. There were 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids. We all had a great time. Lovely homely, family atmosphere. Fabulous staff - friendly and helpful. Service was great. We're veggie and the choice of burgers etc was the best I've ever seen. They were also... More

The wife & I fancied a burger on our stay in Aldeburgh over the weekend and decided to give Delphines a go. From the outside the place looks great, on entering the first impression is small but cool ! Only one other family in there, two adults & two children who where playing cards !! Random, but I realised why... More

Myself and my partner had a weekend away from kids. Was walking around the back of the diner and noticed the menu on the back door. (Good placement we wouldn't have found it otherwise) had a great meal. The owners were very friendly and was lovely that their family were in and out. Gave a homely feel. Will definitely go... More

Delphine's is a fabulous fifties-styled American diner at the top of Aldeburgh high street. The staff are friendly, the milkshakes are superb, and the food is delicious. All of their food - including the substantial burgers - is sourced locally. We'll certainly be going back for another visit.

We visited Dephines whilst on holiday in October and as vegans were really impressed that there were hotdogs we could eat. The staff were lovely and the decor is fantastic. It was a fun place to go for lunch. Would be great if they could expand the vegan menu and offer non-dairy milkshakes, soya milk for coffee.

We planned a trip to the famous Aldeburgh chip shop, but arrived between openings. On a limited schedule we wandered up and found Delphines. We ordered a variety of burgers which were clearly hand made on the premises. These burgers were the most delicious burgers I've had and the portions were generous. Dessert was also very nice, I would definitely... More

This was my 2nd visit to Delphine's this year. On this occasion I had a takeaway meal of cheeseburger, chips & coleslaw at a cost of £9.15. The burger was very disappointing, very bland and not what I was hoping for. Staff very pleasant but burgers need improving, they need to be juicy and textured. These are available at local... More
