Popped into this unassuming tiny restaurant to have the crab salad. Thought it was on the expensive side but tried it nonetheless. Appeared smaller than I would have thought but was simply Devine! Delicate tastes married to form a gastronomic delight and filled us up without feeling bloated. Would... read more

It is quite a rare experience to witness the kind of hostility we experienced at this establishment. We visited because we were told they were dog friendly, and indeed when we arrived, the young guy in the attached fish mongers next door was very welcoming. We have a very well behaved weimaraner, who is used to pubs, cafe's and restaurants,... More

Found this restaurant, didn't know what it was like, but what a find .great fresh food. homemade at a very reasonable price, with helpful friendly staff.Be warned very popular so be sure to book a table. We were so lucky to get a table because a table for four had just become available when we walked in and asked.Nice relaxed atmosphere.

We popped in here early one weekday morning, while exploring the Aldeburgh shops. The service was excellent and prompt, from a very smiley waitress. Although we only had two drinks here the cafe had a lovely, welcoming feel to it. My mint tea was very nice, as was my wife's coffee.

I took my Mother to Aldeburgh this afternoon for a wander and lunch, only she had already eaten! So we looked for somewhere she could just get a coffee and I could eat, as fish and chips on the beach were out. We saw this place which happened to have one empty table for two, so we went in. What... More

I spotted this place when I was walking in Aldeburgh mainly because the breakfast that people were eating looked delicious. We decided to have lunch there and were all very pleased with the food - all home-made and delicious. We were served by very friendly staff too.

Very pleasant bistro in the main street which offers really first rate breakfast, and a very tasty menu for lunch. The staff are excellent, the food is very good, and the whole enterprise is extremely professional. To one side there is a shop selling a range of wet fish, groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables. The range is very good, and... More

Friendly staff and delicious food. We had the smoked fish plate - good portion size for a light lunch with tasty hot and cold smoked salmon, prawns, etc. A great place to sit outside and watch the world go by.

We walked passed the market eatery quite a few times and it was always very busy so when we saw it had a lunch time table few we jumped at the chance. I had the fish soup and my hubby has the noodles, OMG, it was amazing. The soup was a great portion and had lovely fresh fish with it.... More

We were staying in a lovely cottage in Aldeburgh but decided to treat ourselves to breakfast out. Enjoyed lovely tea, coffee and delicious poached eggs on yummy toast sitting outside watching the world go by. Lunch menu sounded tempting ... We might just go back again to try :-)
