Popped in for morning coffee on arrival in Aldburgh. Liked the ambiance and the menu choice on the specials board so went back for lunch.

Great food. So fresh. I had the dressed crab and it was delicious. Simple but efficient. Staff was lovely and accomodate us without a reservation on a busy Sunday lunch. Great beers on the menu and great choices from the board with specials with a twist. The cakes are amazing too. I took away the peach and salted caramel sponge... More

Situated on the very pleasant main street. Lunchtime visit and sunny day so dined outside. Interesting varied menu. Chose the Thai Vegetable Curry which was authentic and not too hot. No complaints and spent an enjoyable hour here.

Beautiful sat outside on a sunny day, asahi Japanese lager which is a nice touch. Only complaint would be far too much curry powder in the Singapore rice noodles hadn't been cooked out so left a bit of a bad taste, other than that a very enjoyable experience

From some of the other reviews here, it seems that we aren't the only people who received poor service. The waiting staff were rude and unfriendly and completely ignored us when we went to pay. We had also wanted to order another pot of tea but were told they were closed and not taking anymore orders, despite only asking for... More

We had a very pleasant lunch at this place. My husband enjoyed the mixed fish goujons in batter with fries. Plentiful portion size. I had a delicious fresh crab salad with new potatoes. However it was on the small size.

One of the most pleasant places to stop for a coffee or a meal. As a frequent visitor I have always found the staff to be unfailingly helpful, the coffee is delicious and the tea cakes drip with butter. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Market for a snack or a meal. https://c1.tacdn.com/img2/x.gif

We had two light meals at the cafe, and we were impressed with the quality of the food. It was out of the ordinary and a bit exotic. We enjoyed the food both times. The service was good. The only problem I could mention was the early closing time. 4.30 pm seems a bit early for June.

Visited on a grey afternoon for coffee. Reception not very welcoming or friendly. Coffee hopeless. The person making it obviously had no idea of the differences between coffee types and it had a nasty flavour. The machine was being run too hot. The coffee was burnt and the milk was far too hot. I won't make the mistake twice. There... More

Had a lovely family lunch at the market today all the dishes being freshly prepared and well made. I had a fish soup that would not be out of place in a French seaside bistro. The dining room was light and airy.
