Sadly, we missed the sign outside saying no Adnams beer, the local Suffolk ale. Whilst not being a big... More

Having stayed and drank at the Mill Inn at Aldeburgh several years ago and loving the atmosphere we wanted to return for a birthday celebration because the hosts and the reception we received were first class, Sadly they were apparently fully booked,, We however decided to pop back in for a drink and say hello, What a bitter disappointment, The... What a perfect place to watch the British bike race.... Lovely weather superb location and we could escape back into the pub for a deliciously fresh fish and chip lunch! The pub was extremely busy yet the food was not a long wait as we imagined. Staff were friendly, jolly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The chef even came... More

Doesn't claim to be something it's not, traditional pub food both had good nice fish and chips, staff very welcoming and friendly.

This used to be one of the busiest pubs around,so we went for a beer and sandwich at lunchtime. It was comletely empty,a nd after receiving what purported to be a crab sand wich and endured unremitting noise from the owner's family,we new why!

On a week long visit to Aldeburgh we visited The Mill Inn on many occasions, sometimes for just a few drinks, and sometimes for a spot of lunch. Overlooking the seafront, great location. We noticed a few customers taking their drinks outside to sit by the shore and enjoy an afternoon drink in the sun which was a nice idea.... More

Super efficient bar staff and great beer, served in a pleasant sea front location. Didn't try the food but went several times for a beer.

Dinner at the Mill Inn in Aldeburgh (opposite the Moot Hall) - looking for a selection of local fish dishes - across the road, the huts selling locally caught fish are numerous - the only ''special'' was grilled Dab (discounting ubiqitous pub menu whitebait + cod/scampi and chips). Very nice and I probably wouldn't have chosen the dab otherwise. We... More

Been there on a few occasions for drinks and tested the food for the first time on Friday. Great service and good quality pub food all washed down with a fabulous Adnams - definitely worth a visit!
