Excellent service, tastey food and large portions

This is a quiet lovely pub, with a great atmosphere. The Landlord and Landlady are very hospitable, and welcoming. I used to eat at the pub, just to make a change from the White Lion hotel restaurant, where I stayed. The food here is very good, it is prepared to order, it was very tasty and... read more

A fabulous inn with a great atmosphere. Good ale and superb food. Tried their new Kentucky BBQ ribs 15oz of pure heaven. The Mill have installed their own smoker in their kitchens and will be adding to their ribs with smoked brisket an beef short ribs to name a couple. Seriously, if your hungry then this just has to be... More

Stayed in Aldeburgh for a week in July and loved this pub, ate there 3 times. The food was excellent and reasonably prices. Good Adnams Beers especially the new Blackshaw stout served by friendly, helpful staff. It's dog friendly too.... give it a try

Excellent well kept Adams beers, simple food freshly cooked at reasonable prices, very clean tidy pub with a mixture of "pub" seating and restaurant style tables what more could you want? Called early Wednesday evening and because of the above nice buzz about the place. Very personal minor opinion would be a menu in my hand and not have to... More

Décor unremarkable but food very good, especially the fish caught from beach in front of Pub! Bar needed more staff to improve service. Dog friendly.

Nice, friendly pub. They allow you to take your drinks out to the seating area next to the very small museum building by the beach and boating pond, and even further afield so they're very relaxed about it. Didn't eat here but the food looked pretty good.

The bar has plenty of seating which is comfortable and decorative. We had a fresh crab salad which was absolutely lovely, very tasty, well presented and nicely served, although a little pricey. There is also no draught Guinness !

Drove up to Aldeburgh from Cambridge as it was a nice hot day and we fancied fish & chips by the sea. Stopped just near The Mill Inn and had two halves of Aspel @ £2.10 each. Nice friendly staff, and a decent cider. She explained where the best fish & chipss were and served us with a smile. Great... More
