We normally pop in to The Mill when we are in Aldeburgh. The food is good and inventive whilst the local brew is always a treat. You can expect a warm welcome.

Decent pub grub, but not the most comfortable surroundings. Don't let me put you off, because the staff & locals are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Service was prompt & efficient

We stopped here, to avoid a light shower and made very welcome, even our little dog. Nice atmosphere, and local beer and cider.

What can I say? This pub is brilliant for locals and tourists. Always made to feel welcome, especially the dog. Food is excellent with a wide range to choose from. Cajun chicken sizzler and the New Mill Club chicken burger are really good.

They have a very good selection of local ales all served in very pleasant surroundings. Just a few short steps from the beach.

I always come here with my children for fish and chips and a pint of Broadside. Only three tables outside on the lawn opposite allow you to sit and watch people strolling on their way to Thorpeness. You can also sit comfortably inside. Cod or haddock has always been fresh and the scampi too. So this is traditional pub food... More

Just a quick visit to Aldeburgh this time and popped into one of my favourite pubs. I've been visiting this pub for fifty+ years (yes, my parents took me in when I was a child) and it always has a nice atmosphere. Adnams of course, which is the best ale in the world and nice to see that a few... More

It's a shame Trip Advisor goes from Average to Very Good. I would rate The Mill as good. We had a nice lunch, in pleasant surroundings, with good service. Unremarkable but perfectly nice.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and a pint. The food was very good quality pub food. The boy who served us was extremely polite :) Prices were good value and the view from the window was worth to stay for a second pint ;)
