Description: The Seafood & Grill restaurant is a wonderful place to relax and soak up...
The Seafood & Grill restaurant is a wonderful place to relax and soak up panoramic views along the beach, whatever the time of year, though if you are lucky enough to visit during summer, you can take full advantage of the sea-facing al fresco terrace. It has a relaxed ambience and restaurant staff are slick and friendly. Menus at the restaurant at The Brudenell Hotel are full of seasonal produce, sourced from local suppliers. Head chef James Barber is responsible for creating the appealing modern European dishes on offer; his specialty is good honest food done well, like salt beef hash with a fried egg and sweet potato fries, or his own version of fish and chips. The extensive wine list offers the discerning drinker plenty of choice, and good value for money.

Booked up for Mother's day for Sunday lunch knowing their huge range of fish dishes. Arrived and given a fantastic table by the window looking straight out to the beach and sea. For the special occasion they had a jazz saxophonist and pianist who played all my parents favourite Frank Sinatra numbers adding a great sense of spirit . The... More

We brought my elderly father here for lunch as as usual he ordered fish and chips (he always orders fish and chips). What arrived was quiet huge but it was fresh and perfectly cooked. The rest of us had lobster risotto, fish pie and grilled lemon sole. Followed by 4 equally good desserts. All were delicious. We have a top... More

Cannot agree with previous reviews on service issues. My wife and I had Sunday lunch there and found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and efficient. The service was 5 star with perfect times between courses. The food was of a very high standard and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend it and will certainly be returning. Our waiter Nathan... More

Having enjoyed meals here several times before, I decided to bring my wife here for her birthday on a Sunday lunchtime. After parking, before even walking up the steps to the entrance, we could hear a saxophone playing, which immediately created the thought 'I hope that's not where we will be sitting'. We were shown to our table - a... More

Very dissappointed with the quality of the roast dinner. I discussed with the chef, but no clear explanation was given for the poor quality meal. we prebooked the meals, but the menu had changed and there was confusion with the re-ordering. The waitreses did their best to make the meal as pleasant as possible, but all in all, not an... More

Had lunch only. Brilliant view over the sea especially on bright sunny day. Staff cheerful and friendly - makes a huge difference. Food was good but not exceptional - pricey of course, but only what one would expect in this location in Aldeburgh

This restaurant has to be one of the best positioned on the East coast with stunning sea views any time of the year. We visit regularly when taking our parents out for lunch as they love the view. Over the course of our numerous visits we have resisted the urge to review on here as we know, as vegetarians, this... More

When we arrived the restaurant was empty, we had a seat at the bar and ordered drinks whilst we perused the menu. The menu is very comprehensive and many of the dishes looked wonderful. When my London Pride arrived, the ale was flat with very little head and had that distinct taste of being towards the end of the barrel.... More
