Description: The Seafood & Grill restaurant is a wonderful place to relax and soak up...
The Seafood & Grill restaurant is a wonderful place to relax and soak up panoramic views along the beach, whatever the time of year, though if you are lucky enough to visit during summer, you can take full advantage of the sea-facing al fresco terrace. It has a relaxed ambience and restaurant staff are slick and friendly. Menus at the restaurant at The Brudenell Hotel are full of seasonal produce, sourced from local suppliers. Head chef James Barber is responsible for creating the appealing modern European dishes on offer; his specialty is good honest food done well, like salt beef hash with a fried egg and sweet potato fries, or his own version of fish and chips. The extensive wine list offers the discerning drinker plenty of choice, and good value for money.

Can't beat the location , right by the seashore. 8 of us there for lunch. Service was good, staff friendly but I wish restaurants who charge as much as this would train the serving staff to remember who ordered what. It's pretty poor having to go through the "Who ordered the beef? etc... read more

This may not be appreciated by the Brudenell, but we happened on it by chance having just arrived in Aldeburgh one evening and looking for a bar snack or similar. We were pointed to the bar and the staff in there could not have been more helpful and it ended with them showing us to a splendid table by the... More

We had read good reviews for the fish restaurant and travelled up for a nice day out. Aldeburgh was lovely and it is on my return list along with this restaurant. The view was greta and food as expected. The only thing I would say was that having to pay for bread/rolls with the meal always feels like every penny is... More

This restaurant is in the Brudenell hotel. On the whole it was extremely good, but the menu was heavily fish orientated, so unless you are a fish lover, you might find the choice a bit limited. My grandson did have steak and chips one evening and I did try his steak and it was delishious.

My wife and I popped in here for a quick, light lunch on a cold windy day in March. The welcome was as warm as the excellent fish soup. The mackerel pate was the finest I have ever tasted and the whole experience was topped with friendly helpful staff. A first class experience and highly recommended

Drinks pricey but food lovely.... nothing is too much trouble. Found the menu had a bit too much emphasis on smoked food - smoked prawns, chicken, bacon......

We had a most pleasant tea here, the scones were home made, and there are some interesting tea blends. It is not a restaurant though.

We dropped in here for lunch on a cold, windy Easter Monday. The warmth of the welcome instantly made us forget how cold we were. The restaurant was high-class, without being ridiculously expensive. The slightly dry pitta bread with my partner's starter was quickly replaced without a quibble. The fish soup was excellent, as was the hake main course, which... More

Came her for the first time for lunch with friends having just moved in locally. Was a bit surprised to be met by six male waiters standing behind the bar and waited a little while before one of them made the effort to find us a table. Service was a little slow, but we were not in a hurry. Plenty... More
