Dropped into the Brundenell as we strolled along the promenade for an afternoon coffee. ordered a cafetiere of coffee for 2 and a piece of brownie/hazelnut cake. The price was similar to that what you would pay in a coffee shop and the cake delicious as was the coffee

Had a meal here for our anniversary and overall had a good experience. However, had a very long wait for our main meal which was cold when it finally arrived. We had a spectacular view over a wild north sea crashing onto the pebbly shore. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. Really worth a visit. Could not fault anything.

Staying with friends on a snowy cold weekend called in hoping for lunch though it was quite late. However we were made welcome, the food was excellent and the service friendly. A longer than average wait for the deserts but they were worth it. Overall a positive experience to be recommended.
